Well you know how it was supposedly confirmed that it was just the last-gen rumble?

But in the latest 1up show, around the 14:25 mark, the guy who went hands-on with it said that it felt like it was in different parts of the controller, and had a less "spinning weights" feel to it...

So, i dunno anymore. Maybe sony's trying to keep it quiet so it comes as a relative surprise later?

Anyway, you should watch the show whether the rumble interests you or not, since most of it is about MGS4, and it's actually pretty interesting (new insights for the gameplay and what not).

Hard to tell what to believe right now. There is a chance that it just seemed that was to them or a chance that it wasn't working properly in the demo. I didn't hear anything from any othe sites stating the same thing yet for MGS4 or other games at the show.

It could be that Sony is implementing the rumoured "touch rumble." Apparently, the contoller is supposed to have different regions of rumble, this way, when your character is hit or attacked, whatever part of his/her body that is hit is supposed to reflect on a specific part of the controller. This is just the supposed rumour, so don't quote me on it.

Oh yeah I know that. It's called "Touchsense" but I was confused on whether or not they would be adding that, or the regular rumble.

Ah, Touchsense, that was the name I was trying to remember, lol. But yeah, I'm guessing that this is what Sony will use, and possibly patent, because it's different than what MS and Nintendo offer, and Sony is trying to set themselves apart from the competition.
