Seems that Sony console games scooped 6 awards (One shared with 360) with Nintendo second with 5 and MS with 2 (One of those being the shared one!).
Looks like being a good year to be a PS3 owner

Yakuza 3 is a PS exclusive???americahellyeah
For now it is. It seems like when Sega release a game as an exclusive it normally stays that way. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
[QUOTE="gekidami"]No surprise, ever since this gen started, has Sony ever not shown the most, and best, at gaming events?eregol
Too true
MS seems to focus on ripping off people's ideas when it goes to trade events. Whether it's a new IP almost identical to another consoles IP, a new interface that rips off another console's interface or buying out a PS exclusive, that's all they seem to do.
Never a big new exclusive, just the fact someone else's exclusive is coming to them.
Big whoop.
But at least Sony is getting some recognition.
Does anyone actually believe the 360 selling figures are higher than PS3's in Japan btw?
I was never impressed with MS at the trade events. Everything that they showed and offered was just a gimmick to prey on the minds of senseless fan boys. Plus the argument of I was only going to buy a PS3 for FF XII and Tekken excuse is getting really tiresome.
I do believe the sell figures went up in Japan but I think that a lot of people are confusing units shipped with units sold.

Yes, but you have to remeber that the month of september saw nothing come out on PS3 and it was also the month with the lowest video game sale figures all round this year.
MS has got to do more than rip-off ideas and steal exclusives to get me intrested, how bout invest on a new and original IP with all that $50 million you used for GTA4 DLC. Or what about Fallout 3, really? Fallout 3? No one cares about that. How bout spending money and resources on game studios and IP's? Not DLC or multiplat games.

It funny how MS get accused of ripping off idea's but its alright for sony to take all of MS idea's to improve PSN.
If no one care about fallout 3 then why do people keep bring it up.
Why does everyone look a DLC like MS is just giving there money away. They will be planning on making a profit from selling the DLC. The money they get back will go into new DLC or games.
You might think its a waste of money buying the rights to multi-plateform games but i bet 360 owner who hasn't got a PS3 will be glad they have the option to play major PS3 games like Final Fantasy on the 360.

Personally I don't feel you can compare PSN to Live.
PSN is free for a start, but I digress,
I think the PSN is laid out more like Steam as a system, and considering that MS aren't exactly the pioneers of Downloadable software then PSN shouldn't be looked at as a rip off of Live, but more of another service along the lines of what we already see over the net.
