so thats why you have home and video footage. To escalate the ps3 popularity by bringing people together in a sim like world. And to actually try the world out, meet friends and have fun together. Its way better than browsing through some menus and just jumping into a game.
imagine hanging out with ur friends who have ps3's chatting and starting a game. or if you live close enough, call them out after a game or two.
its almost like a ONLINE lan party.
i dig it. i do agree its not the greatest thing, but when the games start rolling in it'll be a blast.

I think the clan meetings and stuff related eith home will be excellent. It creates a place for clan memebrs to actually meet at the clan leaders apartment, creating a greater sense of closeness within the clan. This of course leads to ONLINE DOMINATION.
I can see someone "important" having a huge apartment and hiring a bouncer for it or something lol. That would be awesome. The possibilites are really huge.

And people can watch movies/listen to music/play mini games untill the entire clan is gathered and ready to jump into the game.
Not to take away from the awesomeness of Home, but video chat is better than avitars. And walking around a virtual world takes time, scrolling through menus is quick.
I still like the idea, but quick menus and live video is better IMO.
