Sony expects to have 140 more titles and 130 DL titles in the next 9 months.

So the wait is just a little longer guys. PS3 currently has 60 titles and 50 DL titles worldwide. They expect that it will be 200 titles and 180 DL titles by March 31th 2k8. Seems like Sony will really be pushing DL titles in the future as well as more support for 3rd party publishers in the form of marketing, events and in-store promos.

I don't think they'll have that many availble by march of 2008 just because it's hard to make game for there system to begin with. If they have 60 out right now, I expect by then they should have another 40 and thats not a bad thing as long as the 40 consists of all the games we've been waiting for like lair, Drakes fortune, MGS4, etc.....

You're making the assumption that just because Playstation's complexity is higher they're hard to make?

Hardly, gaming companies just haven't discovered an easy method to programming on the PS3.

Programmers are generally the last ones to delve into the system and try to figure out exactly how to use it right.

Also, the monopoly that Microsoft is, is the one making it harder in the first place.

Microsoft Windows programming to Microsoft's X360, there are less loops to jump through.

Then again, i'm just a disgruntled programmer working a dead-end job :(
