Sony Getting Sued For Blu-Ray Infringement

Yet another lawsuit for something they stole an idea from again. I'm disappointed and I don't know what to really say about this. Sony needs to get their stuff together, and think before they mass produce and sell their products otherwise stupid things like this happen. The company suing apparently wants them to stop production with all products connected to Blu-Ray including the PS3, games, movies, Blu-Ray players and the like.

Somebody many years ago must have so-called Patented Dual Layer on CD's/DVD's for more content .. Blu-Ray uses the Layering system so Sony is getting sued .. but really they won't because the people have no case.

this case have been around few months ago after Blu-Ray tech officially became next DVD + many famous company joined Blu-Ray Association. I'm amazed there are ppl want to f**k around with Blu-Ray Association more over this technology is getting more and more demand from consumers. Surely they just want easy money without work

What if i coincidentally made something same with other because of just having same idea & its original from myself. patent right system have flaw & now abuse of law.

Sony is part of the Blu-Ray association. Sony is a member of it. so pretty much they have the right to use Blu-Ray CUZ THEY ARE PART OF THE GROUP THAT MAKES BLU-RAYS

The only reason that Orinda is only suing Sony, which is just one of the companies that are apart of the Blu Ray Association, is for quick money. Orinda knows that they will not win this lawsuit. The true reason for this lawsuit is to try to get a investigation going so Sony will have to stop all Blu Ray related production. Orinda knows that if they can get this done, Sony will try to come up with some settlement to have this lawsuit dropped.
