Well a mascot has to be marketed to the masses which means family friendly... so Kratos is out. Sorry. Sackboy, Ratchet & Clank, or another character along those lines. What about Sonic? He's not doing much these days!
i dont see the piont of a mascot. this isnt the 80s where you cant sell things unless they have marios name on it. we no longer require mascotsevilmaster2424

Some of them aren't very family friendly Well team mascots and brand mascots aren't exactly the same thing. What college mascot isn't family friendly though? MS doesn't really use Master Chief to promote the 360 brand. It's more that when people think of 360 they think of Halo. Much like when people think of PS3 they think of Sackboy or Kratos or Drake... yet Sony hasn't really used these characters to promote the PS3 brand. Mario was used more to actually push the Nintendo brand because he was on more than just Super Mario game covers. The way Sony is using Kevin Butler is perfect... he's definitely the mascot.
Id say Sweet tooth or Snake being they havent had sucky games and are ...well for sweet tooth will be on all of sony's consoles. I wouldn't mind Kevin Butler as a Mascot though. Love that guy when he came out at E3 I screamed like a girl . As did I for Twisted Metal being announced. (I freaked out ) So Id say Sweet Tooth.
