This I can agree with. That and the fact that Sony's (un)fees for service are usually categorized as *DIAGNOSTIC* fees. Meaning that by the letter of contract, you're only paying them to find out what's wrong with your system when you do ship it in. It's at their discretion to either repair, replace or do nothing to it at all. My brother had to find this out the hard way with the ps2. :(Pricing in general is Sony's problem. The repair price and PS3 price.
