So, I saw Sorcery play out with Playstation Move and I thought it was fantastic. What are you alls impressions?

It's promising, but so far it feels a bit like a tech demo stretched out to a full game. I like the idea, but I think I'd get bored of the concept pretty quickly. The spells are cool though, I just wished the demonstration showed us a little more than generic castle rooms with goblins. Level design is very important to me.
When I heard the guy say "Now let's talk about some games never seen before" I got amped and thought the show was really going to begin. Then when I saw then game and realized it was a move title, I was like "wtf is this **** and lost interest immediately. But after seeing the guy play a little bit I thought it was a really good game and it made my view of the move more positive.
I had the same reaction you did. When they showed a boy holding a wand my firsts thoughts were what Sony was smoking, after watching it I am really interested in that and the Playstation Move. When I heard the guy say "Now let's talk about some games never seen before" I got amped and thought the show was really going to begin. Yeah, it's quite a clever game from the looks of it and the main thing I find odd is that this is not a game I would typically want to play. Owning a Wii and all has turned me off on any motion control but I really think Sony is pulling it off the correct way by not forcing people to use it on the main games people buy. I also love the ball of light and this is kinda sad but I am really really wanting that eyepet thing. :PMrKlownyEyepet really is amazing. And now with Move support, it will be even better
I think everyone (including myself) got a little pissed off when we first saw this. But the use of the move looked actually enjoyable. The guy wasn't breaking a sweat he could of easily been sitting down and he could change up his tactics to fit his play style. Using the wand with the move looked as easy as vollying with a tennis racket, not a lot of energy is needed but does require some precision.
I'm not a fan of casting magic spells with wands so I won't be getting this but I hope other games can learn from this and perfect the concept.
It'll have to have a lot of variety in the gameplay if I'm going to be interested in it. It was a pretty good demo that showed off how the Move was integrated into the game, but if you just fight wave of enemy after wave of enemy like what was shown in the demo then I can see it getting really old really fast.
The game did help get me interested in the move. Too bad the game is probably coming out around Q2 2011.
It could be really awesome if they work on making an interesting story with a lot of fun gameplay, spells, boss fights etc..
I like what they showed at E3 and if they really polish it and take the time to make it fun, then I think it could turn out to be one of the best games released for move.
Yup. haha. I liked it. I thought it was cool to watch but I'm not so sure if it'll be cool to play. Seems very one dimensional in terms of gameplay. Wave your wand around, shoot stuff, doe a few AOE moves, make a wall of fire. I'll have to see how it pans out.i liked the part how the move controller changed colors when he drank the potion

When they were explaining the game I thought that it sounded really stupid but when they started playing it, it looked really fun and got me kind of interested in the Move.
Sorcery should be all right, but what I'm waiting for is the new FPS games. I always thought it was very stupid to have the reticle in the center of the screen and the whole screen moving around it, after all your eyes can look somewhere and your arm is not linked to this direction. Having to move the said reticle move with the right pad was either too slow or too fast to have good aim too. And there's lots of games where it'll be better with Move, sports or others.
And comparing it to Wiimote/nunchuk is not good. The Wii motion detection is very limited, precise tasks are only exceptional (like in Metroid twisting the wrist to open a door with a key will only work with the key and in front of the door) and in most games it is more based on timing than actual movement detection (in competitions, you see guys giving a slight movement of the wrist at the right time rather than doing a full move).
when the Move was announced, i was skeptical; i thought that SONY was jumping on the Wii bandwagon and i couldn't figure out what they could possibly do to make me buy Move-titles when i already have a Wii. then, i saw how Sorcery plays and i think that barring a truly terrible review, i'm pretty much 100% sure i'm buying the Move with this title and the Sports one as well.
I had bought the Gametrak Rel world golf, working with a box you put on the ground that has plastic wires joined to gloves, the problem was the box was too light so when you swinged the "club" your calibration went wrong so it was difficult to play well. So I'm interested in this as it will be used in many game genres, especially FPS where I hated having the reticle in the center of the screen
