game is a big MEH..... recycled environments and enemies ad nauseum. i have honestly never seen such a huge amount of recycled content in a game. and navigating everything via a book was a huge mistake... the game needed a hub town or zone to run around in between missions.ANyone still playing this game? ANyone ready for a sequel?

I don't think it's that bad. The co-op can be fun but after getting it at full price I'd say you can definitely hold off and wait for a price drop.
I can't get into monster hunter no matter how many times I tried, this game however is pretty nice, nothing beats the high you get when you defeat an arch boss with every bit of sacrifice you can do and end up defeating it.

I think the game is still populated online, haven't played much though since my connection isn't good.
They seem to be putting out new free content with regularity. I don't think you'll see a sequel for a long time.
So would you guys want a sequel or should the train stop here?

I still haven't finished this one but I wouldn't mind a sequel if they made some major improvements. The core gameplay mechanics are fun but the enivornments need to be more expansive, more weapon options, customization...etc
The game definitely deserves a sequel, that is if it has an open world, kind of like how Demon's Souls went to an open world in Dark Souls (however, both of these games are better than Soul Sacrifice). I do kind of wish the Souls games would be a little more like SS in how the MP works, as I like the lobby system of SS simply because it's easier to play with friends than the process in Demon's/Dark Souls.
Still playing the game as right now, haven't beaten it yet. They definitely can improve some things. Environments mostly, different enemy types. But it has a solid core if I must say so myself.
