Splinter Cell Double Agent ps3 question

im looking to pick this up for ps3 but im a little hesitant. reviews bash the ps3 version like no other but i wanted to see what the GS community members thought. also, hows the multiplayer. and last have they patched any issues with it since release?

I thought the multiplayer was quite fun, and the MP doesn't have the FPS issues which the singleplayer does. So if you get it, add Araksik on your PSN and we'll do some MP together. Kinda hard to do MP since there are so few people playing too.
