Ok so, I'm not far in the game...only got the first three trophies and, yea...so I was wondering around a found some Brotherhood of Steal people fighting some Super Mutants, so I help them out..one dies the other one survives, now I go talk to him and he says this area is under the protection of them???, yea but that doesn't matter, what does is that I go to the dead one steal his gun and steal his armor, but I can't put it on because I need some kind of heavy equipment training, I want to have that armor so bad, but I can't...Where's this "trainer' I need to find, can I just find him/her or do I need to pass some part of the story, I'm roaming around gaining XP, but I'm suppose to find my dad, deal with the Queen ant, find this boys father...learn about the android, bring some mines to a person,deliver lucy's message, but her family dead, but...o and disarm the bomb, i'm more worried about getting to wear that armor, also is it a bad thing...you know the guy that offers you if you want to activate the bomb, after I said NO, I went to the sherif told him and then, the guy killed the sherif with a silencer and just walked of, I was going to kill him but this person got in my way, and he walked out the door and I never seened him, before he left he said I better watch my back, I hope this isn't nothing bad:?
You find the person who trains you farther into the main quest.
So no matter how many levels you gain you need to complete a certain amout of the main quest to meet the trainer.

How for are you into the main quest?
I don't know...not much my current quests: are - Those! (Ant Queen) - Wasteland survival guide (landmine to Moira) - the ruplicated man (learn more bout escaped android) - blood ties (LOCATE lucy's family, deliver her message, I already know family dead...) - Following in his footsteps (find galaxy news radio) - the power of the atom (disarm the bomb) now I don't know which is the main quest, I know I heard that do all the sidequest before you beat the game, because this some sort of section would be closed, and you can't do the sidequest, I dont know what it means by that but im doing whatever they tell me to do, and what seems convenient, Im currently now exploring flooded metro, some grandma said that she saw some people looking for e and that they might still be there...so im looking for them

no you have to be inside the b.o.s. headquarters go to vault 87 I haven't got far enough, I don't even know that there is a vault 87???I just want to find the "trainer", is it in there?

no you have to be inside the b.o.s. headquarters go to vault 87 I haven't got far enough, I don't even know that there is a vault 87???I just want to find the "trainer", is it in there? you are not far enough along to wear the power armor sorry :( just keep completing quests it'll come naturally
