I twittered Square Enix awhile ago about a possiblity of a Kingdom Hearts Collection going on the PS3. Their reply...
I don't know, but maybe in the future :)
With a smile. :)

Hey,
Well we did try our best :)
Yup, wonder what the smile means. =PWhy would you want a KH collection? All the games are still ridiculously easy to find.
Shirokishi_
well im pretty sure it would be remastered
It would still be awesome...Why would you want a KH collection? All the games are still ridiculously easy to find.

Because they've been horrible to the fans by keeping the Final Mix games exclusive to Japan. Why would you want a KH collection? All the games are still ridiculously easy to find.

Because they've been horrible to the fans by keeping the Final Mix games exclusive to Japan.Yeah, there was a petition online somewhere to release both Final Mixes to North America. Over 17,000 people signed and Enix didn't give a crap about it.\ I don't want to fire up my old PS2 if they are remastered nicely on the PS3, thats why.Why would you want a KH collection? All the games are still ridiculously easy to find.

Over 17,000 people signed and Enix didn't give a crap about it.It's not just about the fans. Important plot points were added in each of the games (think of them as "director's cuts," for those unfamiliar with the games) that were just there in later games without any explanation, such as Sora's encounter with Xemnas in KH1 (shows up in the flashbacks in KH2) or the information about the Rooms of Sleep and Awakening (important points in KH 358/2 Days that the player is expected to already be somewhat familiar with due to a scene in Final Mix 2). There are many, many others, least of which are several plot threads in KH2 that were just left hanging but explained in the Final Mix version... these things didn't make it into the original game due to "time constraints." :|[QUOTE="Warriorboy1990"][QUOTE="MAILER_DAEMON"]Because they've been horrible to the fans by keeping the Final Mix games exclusive to Japan.MAILER_DAEMONYeah, there was a petition online somewhere to release both Final Mixes to North America. If Square Enix puts KH1 and KH2 Final Mix, along with Kingdom Hearts RE Chain of Memories which was never released over here in the UK. I'll buy it.
