Prologue
So After Free radical went bust, All known games in development by FR and unannounced Games in development disappeared into a cloud.
Introduction
One of these games was Star Wars Battlefront 3 a sequal from the following 2 PS2 games. Similar to Battlefield series, Battlefront places players into The Star War univerise and allowed them to fight in Iconic locations from the films, use star wars weapons, vehicles and play as some of the characters. The game was a great success among Film fans and gamers who loved the Battlefield ****of game. It featured huge maps, decent amount of on screen enemys plenty of action and great multiplayer experience.

LATEST NEWS: March 2009 - After FR went bust, Pandemic studio's (the original developers of the battlefront games) annouced new projects coded "X" "Y" "Z"
Timeline
December 2008 :Renders from battlefront 3 were leaked onto the internet, the renders were in complete form and looked spot on and promising for in game
Januray 2009: after the leaked renders, EX staff from Free radical leaked a gameplay video of Battlefront 3
The video
The gameplay feature in the video was rumour to only be 50% of what was on offer. Apprently the gameplay featured in the leaked footage was simple the new renders running on a slightly updated engine from Battlefront 2 (PS2). Although new cinematics are featured in the footage. Huge new gameplay features, visual effects and other content were not shown.
Where is Battlefront now?
Neither canceled nor being openly worked on is the best way to describe battlefronts position
" Free Radical Design announced that they lost the rights to develop Star Wars: Battlefront III in October, prior to them going into administration. The game had been in development for two years. A company spokesperson on the official Pandemic Studios Internet forum refuted speculation that they had taken over the project in March of 2009, saying that "the title seems to be up in the air."

There are many more Videos and Pictures avaliable HOWEVER alot of these a likely to be fake or a Modified version of the PC version of Battlefront 2.
