Im thinkin bout getting it too and im not that big of a star wars fan. Although i loved kotr, but it seems like god of war with less combos. Does it have mulitplayer?
The demo was...well, nothing more than I expected it to be.
The gameplay was fun, at least for the first 5 mins, then it kinda got a-little repetitive (but that is come to be expected from a Star Wars adventure game). The visuals were great.
Loved it. Lightsaber combat can be good, if you take the time to mix it with some force powers. But the award goes to the force use. There are just so many ways to use it and seing how the NPCs react to it is great ;D
I liked the demo but felt kinda ripped of that it didn't take me half an hour as promised at the download screen. I won't get it right away, but may pick it up next year when the prices falls.
I......HATE.........STAR.........WARS. But i played that demo like 10 times. im addicted. im sure lots of people wouldn't buy it cause it says star wars on the cover. but a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet right. im deffinatly gonna buy it. too bad theres no co-op. since theres no trophy support i may have to get the wii version for its co-op and extra levels. but i just hate the wii mote sooooooooo much i dunno if ill be able to bring myself to do it
I thought it was pretty good- it had some pretty major issues such as ludicrous enemy AI... That and a few aspects of the graphics are below par- such as the apprentice's character model and the lightning saber attacks...
But all the fun you can have with force grip makes up for most of the flaws quite nicely... :D
As above said it wasnt bad. It did not run perfect. But then again so much is movable and destructible in a decent sized inviorment. The freakish force power this apprentice has, The game does a good job of making you really feel that, and its in your hands.
What it comes down to to me. If it can hold together this decet threw all levels. It has a cool story it seems. And cool enough game play, to be a pretty good game. But, If bigger levels start to fall apart with twitches and frames missing. It could destroys the game. Which would be vary sad, with such a good blueprint of a game. But I had fun with the demo, once I could do everything without thinking, after a second play threw.
I really like it but the boss AT-ST I didn't really like, fighting it can be difficult then all of a sudden I can cut it in half.Timmeus
I felt the same way. They should work on the difficulty consistency. The AT-ST was a bit of a challenge but then when they let you enter a button combo it feels kinda cheep. I also think the apprentice's running speed is a little slow considering how fast his moves are. Other than that I loved the demo and I'll get the game because it reminds me somewhat of KoToR and Battlefront.

i first saw this game announced and didnt even give it a second glance because it was a star wars game..then a mate asked me if i have seen any videos and said it was really good the physics and powers etc. so i had a look and definately getting it the demo is to much for me to be bothered downloading so im just going to buy it
Don't know what Is hould think about the demo, it's actually what I expected, but I don't really had a "wow"-feeling. Well, I'm still getting it in hope the Jedi-Fights will be good and because the beach and jungel ares seems to be pretty cool ^^
I thought the demo was fantastic. The gameplay is challenging at first but when you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun and there's a lot you can do. I got a realy feeling that I was about to start this epic storyline when the demo ended, so I will be getting this game on 09/16
Very fun. I did notice quite a few bugs and design flaws but it was all good. The one thing I wanted though was a sweep force push(Throwing everyone to the side)
