STARHAWK! Here it comes.

I know that most of you guys probably aren't as excited as I am about this, but.... I am overcome by joy.

It just looks beautiful. A worthy successor to my favorite PS3 game of all time. Gameplay was shown on Spike.

watching GameTrailers TV and it looks pretty good, i like the fact they took off the six-axis functionality in this game, to make it with more control rather than making it gimmicky

I nearly squealed like a little girl.

I know a lot of people have been saying how it's leaving behind too many of the strong, core mechanics of Warhawk, but if you look a little closer, you can see that things aren't too different. The character perspective is largely the same, the graphics are the main differentiator. I really hope that they're able to distinguish the maps, and take the same approach as Warhawk. The five large maps that split into smaller ones offered a surprisingly excellent variation. As of now, my only concerns are: When is it coming out?! And also, I hope to see some brighter environments. I want places like Archipelago and the Badlands, which are brighter visually, alongside places such as Omega Dawn and Eucadia. The atmosphere of each map is unique. I hope they stick to that.

Oh, and the RTS stuff doesn't look too heavy. It isn't Starcraft or anything, haha.

The Build and Battle actually looks really cool, though I'm interested in seeing how they implement it into the multiplayer. I'm sure it'll work wonderfully with the four player co-op on Singleplayer.

By the way, you guys should check Dylan Jobe's twitter. Lots of good updates coming from there. In other news, Christopher Lennertz is composing the soundtrack again. I loved this song so much. It brings me joy.

And finally, it's nice to see that how the devs are approaching Starhawk. They aren't doing anything silly to try to take down CoD.

Dylan Jobe confirmed 32 player battles and four player splitscreen/co op already. ^_^

Saw it on GTTV last night. and I had my jaw dropped from the gameplay I've seen along with the pretty graphics. I'm buying this game on day 1!:D

i cant wait for it! i personally loved warhawk so starhawk will probably be even better.

I feel so sad for all those silly people who sold thier PS3 because of the PSN issue. Even though I'm a Multi-console owner, this is one tittle that I'm glad to have as an exclusive.

I am definitely as excited as you are!!! Warhawk has still been the most addictive online experience I've played on any system... And Starhawk looks brilliant!!! Already my most anticipated of 2012!haze_blaze

I haven't played WarHawk in ages but it will always have a special place in my gaming collection. It was one of my first online shooters that I actually got kinda good at so naturally I'm looking forward to StarHawk!!!

Starhawk looks freaking amazing. Warhawk is one of my favorite games on the PS3; it provided me with lots and lots of entertainment. It's basically one of the few games that I could play for hours nonstop and never get bored. Anyways, I'm looking forward to Starhawk - looks awesome.
