Tekken 6 is coming to both systems , the game won't be that different from one another either way. Some multiplatform games started devlopment on 360 first in the past few years , but the games aren't that different at the end of the day.
PS3 rocks , that is all.
There developed simataniously on both systems. Unless one was exclusive at some point and then ported. Im a owner of both systems as well and honestly I buy all my games for the Ps3. Not that I don't like xbox or LIVE though.LIVE GOLD is defitnetly better then PSN, however it's not that big of a deal for me. PSN is good. It's just I prefer Sony's controller.

What you said is false. Developers are tending to build there games on PS3 first now because of the time it takes to make a game on PS3. Sony's biggest downfall is making games hard to make for their systems. Sony owns in making great hardware but their software isnt quite there yet. On the other hand Microsoft is great with software but sucks at hardware (red ring of death). Now the saddest part about this gen is that Microsoft has the larger install base which means games that are multiplat will not look as good if they took advantage of all the PS3's power (kinda like xbox being better then PS2 last gen). Both systems have their good and bad. I have to say though Microsoft has crap exclusives compared to Sony and its track record. God of war, uncharted, ratchet, killzone, heavy rain, team ico/SC project, infamous, resistance, mag, the agency......... would you like me to continue? EA is a good example of a company using the PS3 as a lead platform. Burnout: Paradise and Dead Space, to name a couple.
ok so today i went to Gamestop cuz its pay day! of course!!!! haha and i wanted to diversify my collection a lil bit so i picked up little big planet...im 23 yrs old and the game is fun and addicting as hell. Well of course i didnt go to my normal Gamestop because this one wuz the only one in the area that had a used one. The guy asked y i own a Ps3 and not a 360 and i replied i used to have a 360 but i sold it when it started giving me problems. The 2 tools laugh and said, yeah Ps3 is cool if you like playing online and getting stabbed in the chest 7 times cuz it lags so bad. Then i replied with a rumor i heard about Tekken being so powerful it may only be released on PS3 bcuz the 360 cant handle it. i do not kno if that is tru or not, i heard that at another gamestop. They replied with 360 has more power than the PS3 and that most games are developed for the 360 and then crossed over for the PS3...ive never heard that b4 so i dont know if thats true...are they just on the 360 band wagon? i mean trust me, im not one of those guys who will bash a 360, i think its cool and it has some very cool exclusives. They went on to say Killzone 2 is sonys only FPS worth buying and everything else on it is crap. I was like your dumb because Resistance is a good game and so is Uncharted, F.E.A.R.2, as well as others which they said is crap. I told them that Killzone is visually better than Gears and they didnt wanna hear it but i trully think it is being that i have owned both. So i really dont know whut to make of the whole thing. I love my PS3 and i think the PS3 is a grown mans system, and the 360 is for more the teens and younger kids IMO. So is that stuff true, do developers you the 360 as a platform and then cross it over to the PS3, and is Tekken really being made for the 360 not the PS3???theru8543Why even waste time going back & forth with them? The accomplishment between the 3 of you was nothing. I would've smiled & said "To each their own". The more you argue with fanboys, the more you become one.
yea ...it's sad when it gets to the point that you actually miss them xD always fun to see the fanboys of the realworldMan it's been awhile since I've seen a Gamestop thread here.:P

Can someone explain to me WTF people shop at Gamestop? Do you like buying a game for 60 bucks, trading it in 3 days later and have them give you 14 bucks for it so they can turn around and sell it for 55 bucks in a ziplock bag with no book box or nothing to the next absolute moron who, as previously laid out, is actually paying 55 bucks for a used disc? I mean, really? 55 you could save up, but that last 5 bucks is just too much for you to shell out to get a brand new, unopened, never used game. And knowing that they do this type chite, why give them any business at all? Its video games people, you can get them just about anywhere. If they got a Gamestop near you, Im pretty sure they will have a Target, Best Buy, or Walmart nearby also..... and imagine this crazyness: THEY ACTUALLY HAVE SALES FROM TIME TO TIME! Amazing, huh? And even if they dont, heres a magic word for you....... AMAZON. Seriously, WTF?! My reasons for shopping at Gamestop are:
1) I hate online shopping
2) Other places usually don't have the game I'm looking for.
3) I like the small sizes of the store and being surrounded by videogames.
4) I usually get preorder bonuses. (Mirror's Edge bag was the best bonus)
5) I don't trade in my games.
Man, I must just be spoiled by having a good Gamestop. Last time I was there I got high-fived by the employees because I own a PS3 and prefer it to my 360.
Most of the Gamestop employees I've dealt with are losers that won't be getting laid anytime soon.
:)

it really depends on what gamestop you go to man, i go to the gamestop that ive alway went too for about 1 and a half and the managers pretty cool, even got him on my psn friend list lol, theres been a couple of time where a bought a game and didn't like it so i brought it back within a week or so, and he always give me a full refund back. thats y i go there, if you go to walmart or best buy, or target you can't return the game the next day cus it's been open which really sucks, cus always feel like i wasted 60 bucks on a game that i don't like.u can sell it on ebay but tooo much work.
I despise my Gamestop. Whenever I go there and get ready to buy something, I can't because the tools are talking to their friends for 10 minutes before they can acknowledge me. 1 time that has not happend, and even then that's because he was friends with the guy I went with, whom he proceeded to talk to for 10 minutes while someone was waiting to get serverd
That's why I go to Gamecrazy. The people are nice, good deals, and actually seem to give a damn. I've had them warn me about a game because they heard it wasn't that good. Another time, I walked up and saw Golden Axe: Beast Riders was on sale. I asked if it was any good, and rather than trying to sell it to me along with a few other craptacular games, they simply said "Trust us, it's not worth your time". They'll a little annoying at times, but overall much more preferable.
Or I just buy off of Amazon/Best Buy online and have to talk to no one. For that I'm willing to pay an extra $5 shipping and wait a day or two to not have to listen to the occasional fanboy boast about the 360/PS3/Wii/DS/PSP/Sega Saturn. That's what the internet is for :P

We have more power as consumers than you think, people. yeah i def. have to disagree. im def not a rich guy so to me 5 bucks is 5 bucks. plus im an edge member so i get an additional 5 bucks off so it brought it down to 50 then i traded in two PSP games which i got 12 bucks for each so that brought my total down to 26 bucks for a like new little big planet. I wanted the game now so i didnt want to wait for Amazon and i probably could have gotten it for at least 40 bucks on amazon, its easier for me to go right down the street and get the game. Target, Best Buy, and Walmart dont have used games. I prefer to buy used games because they are a little bit cheaper to you it may be 5 bucks but to me its gas to get to work tomorrow. you see whut i mean, i think game stop is great. PLUS might i add when you buy a used game you can return it in 7 days and either get your money back or get a different game, you cant do that with a new game. so its cool because 2 weeks ago i bought afro samurai used, beat it in 4 days and then i traded it in for F.E.A.R. 2 used which i beat in 5 days then i brought it back got my 52 bucks back (49.99 plus tax) and used it to get a brand new Killzone 2 for 60 bucks, so i basically got 3 games for 60 dollars!!!!!! CANT DO THAT AT WALMART!!!!2006-2007 was xbox year

2009 it is playstation year

Personally I try to avoid buying games at places like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. They are just Big Box stores and supporting them doesn't do much good (unfortunately Best Buy is the only place to get a decent deal on numerous electronics as I WILL NOT SHOP AT WALMART!). So I try to go to specialty shops like Gamestop, Gamecrazy, etc. Unfortunately my GC stinks making GStop my best option. These people at least try to have an idea about what they are selling and can give me info on games. More than I can say about BB employees. The amount of foolish things I have heard those people say about games has passed a countable number.
In additon, the one time I traded in games (when I bought my ps3) I got such a small return I realized that it is more worth it to keep the games. I also almost exclusively buy games new. If I'm gonna give money to the gaming world, I want it to go to the developers, not to the pawn shop of games. Course I did buy COD4 for 30 bucks cause I wasn't gonna pay full price for it, but that was the last time, REALLY.
But yea, that's why I go to Game Stop.

Well now I guess that ones alright. But do they do the trade in for 14, sell for 55 thing also? That is just something that really rubs me the wrong way, but hey, as long as there are people who go for that, why would they stop?yeah i def. have to disagree. im def not a rich guy so to me 5 bucks is 5 bucks. plus im an edge member so i get an additional 5 bucks off so it brought it down to 50 then i traded in two PSP games which i got 12 bucks for each so that brought my total down to 26 bucks for a like new little big planet. I do understand your logic in the tail end of your post however. I only buy games Im gonna want to keep and add to my library, so perhaps thats why I find no value in the used.
Yeah, Gamestop aint exactly "mom and pop" category either man, so I think your defeating your own point on that...... They are just Big Box stores and supporting them doesn't do much good (unfortunately Best Buy is the only place to get a decent deal on numerous electronics as I WILL NOT SHOP AT WALMART!). Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is not ps3 exclusive. If that happened to me I would have probably cussed both of them out for being so annoying. You should have asked to speak to a manager and told him what was going on. If that happens again, ask them what games 360 has coming out in the next year? You can then sit back while they scratch their heads thinking of an exclusive that is worth buying. Halo is pretty much done so they can't rely on that anymore. It really makes me mad even hearing that they said that. I get tired of that crap enough justs from being online and being in forums. If I had to deal with it in person I'd probably lose my mind
The gamestop employees at my gamestop nearby are cool people, the ones you have confronted were not being professional.
Most games that are multi-platform are made for 360 then ported for the reason that there are more 360s than ps3s so we think. That is why when games like Killzone 2 and MLB 09 the show which are both exclusives come out they always have some of the best graphics and less problems because the ps3 has more power.
Damn that sucks where do you live at? All the gamestops i go to by me always kiss my ass when i walk in to buy my games. I have a BestBuy rewards card and only go there when i get a discount card but sometimes when i go there they dont have the games i want. Last time i went for SF4 and they were sold out so I just went to Gamestop and of course they had it and like what someone else said if you preorder you get free stuff most of the time for big game titles.

seriously,if there is a next time, just look at the DB and tell him he is there for one reason, and that is to serve you with the product that your interested in. if they don't stop after that tell them fine you'll take your un-biased $$$ elsewhere. i'm sure that will help, but if not then you can always just say that the 360 is an RROD'ing piece of crap technology regardless of it's games. Microsoft only cares about a profit, and that is obvious through all the reports of how they knew about how the 360 breaks down before releasing it to the public. if all else fails say you dislike the 360's POS controller. hahaha
