[QUOTE="theru8543"] yeah i def. have to disagree. im def not a rich guy so to me 5 bucks is 5 bucks. plus im an edge member so i get an additional 5 bucks off so it brought it down to 50 then i traded in two PSP games which i got 12 bucks for each so that brought my total down to 26 bucks for a like new little big planet. I wanted the game now so i didnt want to wait for Amazon and i probably could have gotten it for at least 40 bucks on amazon, its easier for me to go right down the street and get the game. Target, Best Buy, and Walmart dont have used games. I prefer to buy used games because they are a little bit cheaper to you it may be 5 bucks but to me its gas to get to work tomorrow. you see whut i mean, i think game stop is great. PLUS might i add when you buy a used game you can return it in 7 days and either get your money back or get a different game, you cant do that with a new game. so its cool because 2 weeks ago i bought afro samurai used, beat it in 4 days and then i traded it in for F.E.A.R. 2 used which i beat in 5 days then i brought it back got my 52 bucks back (49.99 plus tax) and used it to get a brand new Killzone 2 for 60 bucks, so i basically got 3 games for 60 dollars!!!!!! CANT DO THAT AT WALMART!!!!--Rob--Dude, I really mean no offense by this, but if that last 5 bucks has that much riding on it for you, then you probably shouldnt be buying games at all. I do understand your logic in the tail end of your post however. I only buy games Im gonna want to keep and add to my library, so perhaps thats why I find no value in the used. i dont think you get it, i never said it was my last 5 dollars, i dont think if i had 65 bucks id buy a 60 dollar game and save five bucks. thats not whut im saying. but money is money, thats all im saying. im 23 years old, i know how to manage my money , and if i can find a bargain im gona take advantage of it. during the week if i find things on sales or cheaper, in the end, i end up saving a lot more money. you see whut im saying? i do the samething too, i try to keep the exclusives in my library but theres always some games i can trade in, like old sports games and stuff. i mean for example i have MLB 2k8 and MLB 2k9, should i keep my 2k8??? no cuz your not gonna play it, so get the little bit of credit for it towards a new game.
