Yea at my school some guys set up a ps2 in this campus center and we were playing naruto. I think it all has to do with if they'll let you use the wifi and power outlets. Especially since the ps3 sucks up the wattage.

If someone bought that PS3 laptop which was a popular thread back this summer, then I can see this happening. Otherwise, I'd say WTF!?

It depends on the crowd. I know that wouldn't work around here I live (IU Bloomington) because the Starbucks are for the students and faculty. It would be very disrespectful to have something like that in the store and I know the store would not allow it in the first place because of the clientele. Just have to make sure that your Starbucks would be ok with it and the people around you guys would allow it. Why in the world would you want to play the PS3 at a Starbucks anyways? Want to show off or something? I don't see the purpose.
Yeah I would do it if I could get some friends to support me. I'd have to actually explain the benefits to the starbucks manager. Maybe it would actually attract customers for a day or something, you never know.
