math is easy. i got 89.5% on my lats math exam without studying anything, i'm serious i didn't even open a book and was nr.1 in class LOL ok that's it! it's like 3:24 am and i'm still up, i'm seriously going to bed now. if my parents find out i stayed up this late they'll get mad(i think) D: lol I really wanna see when you decide to be an engineer..[QUOTE="kweeni"][QUOTE="funsohng"] last time i got 100% in math class, my mom said "why couldnt you get better?" that's what you get for being an asian.Hanabie
dont study and dont do your homework.. and see how smart u can go
I still remember when I was a high school student and it really took ages to get a ps1 machine. back then, owning a playstation aka psx is like owning a gamer community =/
1: i don't want to be an engineer :) 2: i do study & i do my homework. i just didn't study for math that time because it was way to easy. but i did study for everything else though(espesially economics)I'm not sure if i paid for mine or not because i work and i have student loans/grants and i can't be sure technically which money paid for it, If it was loan or wages then i did pay for it but if it was the student grant then i didn't.
I worked hard long hours and saved up to buy mines and when I did I felt really proud of myself. Too bad im not working now though to buy games for it. Let me add that first I bought a ps3 from craigslist for 350 which turned out to be a dud and didnt work. So with my next pay check (2 weeks later) I bought a brand new 80 gig for 400 bucks. So you could say in a month I spent over 750 bucks toward ps3s.
[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="kweeni"] haha!! :D just j/k(sorry not funny)kweenilast time i got 100% in math class, my mom said "why couldnt you get better?" that's what you get for being an asian. also guess what, i'm an asian 2 lol.(well originally i am, now i live in europe) Your geography does not change your ethnicity. I could move to another solar system and assimilate with the native alien culture. I'd still be white.
i actually saved up 300 dollars then when my family was going on vacation i coned my dad into giving me 300 more thats how i got my Ps3 :)
i got it as a gift from my parents because of teh good exams :)
how about you? did you pay for your ps3? or did you get is as a gift?
kweeni
I payed for it with my own money that i worked for....i had like about 7 or 8 thousand bucks in the bank when i got my ps3 so buying it was really nothing..i got mine in november 2006
you brought back a dead thread from July just to say BS like that? what is wrong with you?I found it near a sidewalk:/had to buy wires for it though, and a controller:/I still wonder how did it get near a movie theater though:/

ha, strange how you get a PS3 after your exams, wheres my parents used to just complain, even when I did well in my exams ("its not 100% so its useless" kind of complaining)
Sold my Xbox 360 and Wii and about $100 worth of game, yeh, it was worth it.
stevoqwerty
No, it wasn't worth it. You've sold TWO systems and probably a lot more than a 100 dollars worth of games (100 dollars worth of games is like 2 games) and all you "gained" was a PS3. The PS3 is definitely awesome and my favorite of the 3, but I would never get rid of my 2 other consoles to get a PS3. I just don't see how that was worth it.
I didn't pay for mine either. I bought it with a Best Buy credit card and three months later I declared bankruptcy. I paid about $30 on it. Yeah, that's right.... Bankruptcy = epic success. :PNephilim83wow... you are a real winner arent you? buy things you cant afford because you want them, and then just declare bankruptcy instead of being responsible and owning your mistakes! how despicable.
i paid 300 for mine (60gb) a few months after launch. my wife worked with a guy that already had one, and he bought a sony TV and got another for free, so he sold us that one for 300 because he didnt want or need it. win for me!
Sadly I had to pay full price for mine myself, but a neighbour of mine bought a launch PS3 and only paid £4.25 for it. He paid by credit card and they entered the wrong amount in the machine.
im not some spoiled rich kid (seriously when i was a kid i couldn't have gotten my parents to buy me a games system for even Christmas), i bought my own ps3 with my own money.marcl18123FYI, my parents ordered me a PS3 thanks to something called a "tax refund..." Honestly, parents don't buy you everything you want whenever you want it.
BTW, if I'm not mistaken, thats illegal. An error, especially one that huge, has to be reported, I believe.Sadly I had to pay full price for mine myself, but a neighbour of mine bought a launch PS3 and only paid £4.25 for it. He paid by credit card and they entered the wrong amount in the machine.
