I could think of some amazing games to make , ill have my chance next year as im studyig games design at college
I still wish everyday that they would make a grandia game on the ps3. I loved it on the dreamcast (grandia 2) and would also love it on a ps3. It would really break the mould from the everyday COD game, and adventure game. RPG games have been rather abundant these past few years. Is it because developers would rather make a shooting game with some multiplayer to boost their sales market?
Cole MacGrath runs through Arkham Asylum, shocking Scarecrow andHarley Quinn to death. Then he jumps onto a train and shoots everyone in sight before the train runs over a mountain. He climbs up to the top of the mountainand sees Darth Vader telling him to kill a Jedi. He goes onto the spaceship, kills hundreds of Helghasts and finds him way onto Mars, where he destroys everything on the planet.
Epic.
i don't care for the other two, but the REAL SEQUEL to Final Fantasy Tactics would be the absolute best!!!A Wheel of Time MMO.
An FFXII spinoff starring Balthier.
A real sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics, in PS3 HD glory.
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 with online multiplayer rivaling the likes of BC2 and MW2.

Sorry, but the best game ever made has already been made. It's called Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. Too late, bro.hazelnutmanhaha, Hazel. You can't read. :P ............... Anyway, I've always had this idea where You're a military doctor working in a science lab where you're apart of this horribly inhumane project to make superhuman soldiers from the wounded enemies. You're only a rookie, so it takes a while before you realize what you're working on as its been kept confidential. The first couple hours of the game will be spent learning different minigames for varying surgical procedures and getting to know a few of the wounded soldiers that will become your key roles throughout the game. Once you do a little investigating you find out what's up and you plan to get these guys you've come to know and like out and help them escape......... Here's where it gets interesting........... Each prisoner is a different soldier class. There's a grenadier, a sniper, an stealth infiltrator, a straight up run-n-gunner and You. You're main objective is to escape this massive compound and get outside help to rescue you, but you're finding out more and more effed up info on the project as well. Anway, to get throught the game you have to keep your soldiers alive, because you need each one of them for different situations to keep you alive. So, basically, you control each of them for different segments (some segments you can choose any of them to take a completely different approach to the objective) and when they get wounded you have to perform different surgeries via minigame to patch them up. Their health depends on how good you do and often times you can actually do more damage and ultimately kill them yourself if you aren't careful. .................... Anyway, so thats it. There's a LOT more to it, but I think you get the idea. If I ever get into game design this will be my pet project. Oh, just so you share in the vision a little better, think Valkyria Chronicles meets Metal Gear Solid 3. Its basically a WWII era set in a fantasy world where technology is a bit more advanced for its time.

I responded by saying that the best game ever has indeed been made, and that it was Metal Gear Solid 3. The only two contradictory things in my statement would be under two conditions. Condition 1: You disagree that Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best game ever made. Condition 2: You decipher the thread title to challenge us to think up a game ideas having the qualities of being the best game ever AFTER fulfilling the condition of not being made. However, both conditions are personal interpretations of the thread's function and meaning, and therefore, I CAN INDEED READ. :P

I really felt that when it said "Never" in the title it meant that the game was NEVER made. Since MGS3 has already been made (and trust me, condition 1 is out!) it would be the "best game ever made" and NOT the "best game ever never made." Sorry, I assumed you just misread the title. :P
