What's the best and your most favorite game you downloaded off of PSN so far? This is the game that you feel happy that you downloaded it whenever you play it.

I'd have to go with two: Metal Slug Anthology and Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus.

  • Metal Slug because the downloaded version fixes all the slowdowns and frequent loading hiccups the UMD had.
  • And Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus because not only does this game look amazing on the PSP, it's just a great title to have on my PSP.

Final Fantasy 7: Portable version of one of the best JRPGs ever should be enough justification.

Spyro 1,2 and 3: Basically the same reason as above.

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness: Really fun game that is looooong but easily playable in short shunks.

Well no and you know that. I meant more that they are portable versions of three of the best games in a genre. This time the platformer genre.

Definitely FFVII. Portable, has the color manual/walkthru and looks and play really well even stretched to full screen.

Two games to be specific, "Metal Gear Solid" & "Final Fantasy 7", both are simply amazing games that changed the gaming industry and are simply two of the best games ever created. Whoever if I HAD to chose between the two, I would go with "Final Fantasy 7", the storyline is sheer genius, the gameplay is beyond words (at least back then it was, it still is to me) and the music composition (by Nobuo Uematsu) is one of my favorites (if not my favorite) to this day, I cannot recommend this title enough (especially if you're an RPG fan, but if you're not, this is a great way to start).

NOTE:

If you're not that into Final Fantasy, you should know that you don't need to play 1, 2, 3, etc. in the order of the number, each Final Fantasy has a unique story and can be played in any order, 7 is one of the best (if not THE best).

Probably Justice League Heroes. Pretty good game-- at least it's the game I've had the most fun with that I have downloaded. But Resident Evil Director's cut was good for nostalgic reasons.

Oh I am well aware, and waiting with anticipation. Origins was great, SM looks interesting. Resident Evil is still a long ways away.

May look into Obscure too, but thats still only 4 games; and for a rabid survival horror fan, 4 games just isn't enough.. :?
