i really liked when i first saw the re-design of the ps2 controller but too bad it was scrapped.

You guys do realize that the controller was actually really small, and that because of the long handles it looks massive. If you've seen videos with some guy using it, you would notice how small it actually is. And the guy was actually impressed with the controller and how comfortable it is. ever since that video, i've been wondering what the controller would have been like. Before that video though, my initial reaction was WTF are you kidding me?

And yeah the pictures don't do the controller justice because the pictures make the handle look REALLY long when the truth is the controller was smaller than that. There was a debunk vid a while back and a E3 video about the controller.

I really gotta thank you for that pic...I almost forgot how retarded that controller looked. And I agree...as uncomfortable as it looks, combining that with sixaxis...we'd have a lot of pissed off gamers in the world.

I actually like the boomerang controller.

When I use the SixAxis/DS3, I have to use the middle to end of my fingers to support the controller, while my palms are a couple centimetres away. This is because the handles are too straight. If I tried to wrap my hands around the handles tightly, then my wrists would hurt. The boomerang controller seemed to solve this problem, making the handles more angled. My hands would probably be able to wrap around the handles painlessly.

If Sony ever releases the boomerang controller, I'd buy it immediately (after my SixAxis dies though). By the way, the controller was pretty small.
