He will probably hint a release date but I think that will be when the exclusivity of the game will be nailed down or multiplatform will be announced. I don't want to think this but losing MGS exclusive would be a monumental blow to the PS3 even if it's a timed exclusive.
If ps3 does lose the exclusive right... It will be another big blow to sony. However, I heard that MGS4 cannot be done properly on the 360, so, I doubt that MGS 4 will be release for the 360. Anyway, Just have to wait and see.
MGS will be on 5 DVD9s. and 10 DVD5s. You'll have to change the disk everytime Snake blows his nose. Kojima's an artist and he will never stand for his game to be crippled in such a manner. Plus both Kojima Studio and SqaureEnix are smart they pushed back their release dat so far off the radar that there's no way the PS3 can still be so far behind by then. Both Square and Kojima do not wanna see there game spann 10-15 disks on 360 so they're doing the only thing they can do which is push the release date so far back in hopes of Sony being able to catch up by then.
Didn't the MGS games on the PS2 eventually go to the Xbox? I don't really know, because I don't care for MGS games. If so, why wouldn't MGS4 eventually go to the 360?

As long as it even comes out on PS3; that's all I care about. It's not that Capcom doesn't like Sony and making it not exclusive, it's that Capcom wants to make money, and releasing it for multiple systems and PC.

i also heard that vibration and motion control couldnt be done properly at the same time its just a bunch of companies lying but hopefully it really cant be done on the 360 because i would like mgs4 to stay exclusive to the ps3.

I know about the internet roumors, but as far as I know nothing has been confirmed in regards to DMC going multiplatform. If EU launch goes good, then the PS3 will probably gain the lead in the Next Gen war, this Christmas. Here is what I read:

Hey, the Wii already sold 5 million units, and its been out for only 4 months, the Ps3 has only been out for 4 months and it hasn't even released all over the world, or had a lot of "killer eps." But it should start selling more soon, people in the U.S. got tex returns on march, so expect them to spend a lot of mony in April.
Two of the best buys I went to sold out on the Ps3, and another had only a few units left.

Kojima said that features of the game CANT be handled by the 360, it could be ported later on, but it would be a watered down version and most likely having flaws as MGS 2: S for the original xbx. The DMC blow yeah, was a surprise, but Capcom has been dissapointing lately, closing Clover, getting a fight with those devs, making mediocre ports and releasing crappy remakes with one or 2 extras (DMC 3 SE Im talking about you). I will stick to Sony as long as Lair, White Knight, MGS4 FF XIII, GOW 3 are still there. And from the looks of it they will be. SE know that porting makes crap out of games, that why you dont see ports, only remakes.

Nobody mess because I'm pissed. I have been a dedicated Playstation fan for games such as the DMC series. Now ask who the he** in their right mind would bring a franchise almost 6 years old to 360. Oh I just can't wait to see the noob 360 buyers acting like they know the story because they freakin read it off Wikipedia or something. It's DMC44444 for crying out loud.
P.S MGS Substance sucked on Xbox and Kojima knows this. I respect Hideo Kojima and I believe he has enough sense to see why it should remain on PS3.
DMC is the first of many. MGS, Final Fantasy, etc.....they are going to the 360 too. There is no way games this big can ship on the PS3 alone. It doesn't have the sales base required, and by the time it does the 360's base will be even bigger.......sorry, but that's the facts.

Sony has 1 week to sell at least 3 million PS3s to bring the user to base to 5million From March 23-March 31 Sony needs to sell at least 3 million PS3s for MGS to stay. It's all up to Europe, Aussie and Dubai now. Kojima is just waiting for the numbers to come in.

Capcom really started to plunge in quality after they shut down Clover studios. The whole reason for closing Clover was because Okami didn't really sell much. Even though Okami didn't really appeal to the public, the game is widely considered one of the best games of 2006 (with IGN's best game of the year award) and with good reason. Capcom now focuses more on sales and money than quality of exclusive games that really make people think games are a form of art. I don't see the great developer nowadays that produced Street Fighter 2, Resident Evil, and many more good games but a developer greedy for money and makes every game multiplatform like EA.
i'm telling you, if sony discontinued 20GBs and lowered the price for 60GBs then they will outsell the 360 around teh world by the end of the year. Exclusives aren't being lost because they were never released on the console yet. If Sony can take over the market with their AAA exclusives, then this console war will be tight between Sony and MS considering Nintendo will most likely win the war. Last gen was PS2 dominance, this time around, it might be different.

er....Australia is a really small market, it took us 6 years to buy 2 million PS2s, so far only 153,000 360s and 68,000 Wiis have been sold, i think Europe is your best bet

MGS2: Substance was ported but that was Konami's decision, not Kojima's. Go look it up on IGN as they have an interview where Kojima (on the subject of the MGS2 port) spoke of his distaste for ports. The game sold horribly despite being exclusive for a few months and the Japanese release of Substance on the Xbox was never released due to poor sales. I've also heard the port had some graphical problems (something along those lines; something about the rain not acting properly on the Tanker)
I have read interviews (a couple) WITH KOJIMA and he has stated himself that MGS4 IS NOT GOING TO 360. It's been posted on this fourm before (that's how I saw the article in the first place, and I'm not going to search for it just so you can have proof, find it yourself)
It's also been officially stated that MGS4 is exclusive to PS3, and for the fact that MGS4 NEEDS a 50 gig Blu Ray disk. There is no way it will goto 360, cause it's logically impossible by what was officially stated by Kojima and his team. I for one don't really care if a game goes multi platform, just as long as it's great on PS3 and not lacking a single thing. I could care less about DMC4 honestly, that doesn't bug me much. PS3 just started, and this usually happens when a system just started it's life cycle. (we don't even have a UK launch yet) So calm down guys. Everybody's so worried about this PS3 vs 360 thing that it's just plain nuts. 360 had a year ahead, so ofcoarse they're going to have a bit more right now. Just think about how PS3's going to be a year from now. I for one, have a little more faith in the 600 dollar investment I just made, cause there's a reason I did it. It was pretty much the same for PS2 when it first came out vs Dreamcast. Consider that for a moment...
