I've been playing it for about an hour tonight, and every game has only had six people in it. It can't be coincedence after playing this long. Is anyone else coming across this? I want 8 players back!
I voted later on when i first saw this thread but i ended up getting it on balck friday :P. have yet to put it on inside my ps3 even because i havent beat AC2 yet :(
So I just put the game in to play a little online before bed...had to download a 30+MB update. Anyone know what it does? I don't see any changes so far. It still took me a good 10 minutes to connect to a game, and I actually just realized that I have no sound.
Well take your time ;) AC2 is type long but a little repetitive after awhileI voted later on when i first saw this thread but i ended up getting it on balck friday :P. have yet to put it on inside my ps3 even because i havent beat AC2 yet :(

I think you should buy two of the other AC's right now if you don't have them so you could save more money
So I am getting this game soon. What's your likes and dislikes so far?Gau0123I like everything... I dislike How You play Desmond a lot lesser (so far)
I think I'll grab it once it's priced around the same mark AC2 is priced at right now (on amazon). Rakuhoits 34,99 now.

I also should have mentioned that I have absolutely no intention of playing AC:BH right now (and maybe not ever -- given the multiple titles I have my eyes set on, in 2011). My apologies for not listing this key point.
So, I'd rather withhold my purchase until I'll actually have the desire to play BH, instead of spending 35 bucks now just to store a game that I might not even want to play in the future.

From what I understand there were a lot of improved mechanics of the game (including the graphics) so it seems like the mp was the selling point of the game to me.
So I went to hang out with a friend a few days ago and he decided to play some Brotherhood single player. Against my better judgement I decided to watch him. and little did I know that he was on the last two sequences and for whatever dumb reason I decided to watch, so I had the whole game spoiled even though I don't understand a lot of it. I'm partly glad I did watch though. Looking at the game it looked almost exactly like AC2, even the HUD looked the same. The game was too similar, kinda like a very, very large expansion pack. Also, I watched the mp and while it looked like a nice gesture I wasn't too impressed. As I got Assassin's Creed II for only $20 new, I won't be getting this for a long time.
It's definitely more AC2. and easily a better AC2.. The combat is much improved, and the multiplayer is an awesome new entry into the multiplayer gaming catalog. but yeah if your not a big fan of AC2 i wouldnt be in any hurry, Ubisoft drops prices on their games VERY FAST.So I went to hang out with a friend a few days ago and he decided to play some Brotherhood single player. Yeah, I loved Assassin's Creed 2. AC1 was good but a bit boring at times. Still as much as I liked AC2 and as much as I wanted Brotherhood right then and there I refuse to pay that much for a game. I imagine myself getting it maybe by summer time or so, because that's how long it's gonna take to beat everything else I have.
No comments about the 1.04 update? Finally, online games don't take hours to start!
I've seen people crying online elsewhere that they're MP custom stuff has to be reset, but honestly, for me, that's a tiny price to pay for being able to hop right into a game.
Also, when you see that everyone's level is zero, don't freak out, that was done just so that you can't see that someone is a level 50, which makes you run away, which made games take forever to start. You're still whatever level you were before the update.
It is kind of a half-assed fix, hiding your stats so that games start more quickly, but bravo to Ubisoft all the same. After a month and a half of being out, AC: Brotherhood's online mode is fixed.
P.S. Looking at the PS3 thread list today...what a bunch of moronic questions. I guess a bunch of 11 year olds got PS3's for Christmas?
