Mine is, the wireless connection download is way to slow compare to wire download.

all the other stuff can be fix by firmware update

i have like a few things i hate

1. sixaxis spazzing out or not repsonding for around 10 seconds when playing resistance online
2.constantly losing my internet connnection(if my laptop and pc can maintain a constant wifi connection why does my ps3 drop the connection so often)
3.dust!!!!!(only sorta the ps3s fault)

I have a few issues with it but nothing I can't live with 1) Recharge cable is a little short (an extra foot would have been nice) 2) Would have been nice if they kept the free movie in ALL packages rather then just the first 500 3) DUST magnet (but I keep it covered once it cools down) Nothing major that I can't live with so I'm very satisfied with the PS3 thus far.

The absolute worst thing about PS3 is that you can move PS2 save files to PS3, but you can't move them back to the PS2 memory card. I have to play FFXII on my PS3 and only my PS3 for the rest of my life now.

Half done features. I can play music but nothing else. I can't go browse the store while it's playing, I can only sit and stare at the music screen. Remote play works with the PSP but the PS3 has to be on and the option selected. At that point I can just use the PS3.

Well, your connection strength with your ps3 and your router is probably weak. mines was 60-90%, and downloads are kinda slow. and the d/c problems, i don't really mind.

Where do I start? 1. No background downloading for the dash 2. No multitasking 3. No Games 4. The software updates are tedious when comepared to the 360 updates 5. No Demos on the PS Store (5 or less since the intial launch demos) 6. You have to go back to the dash to view messages 7. Your friend's list doesn't go across titles 8. Resistance, the reason I bought the system is an average FPS. If this wasn't a launch title it would not receive all these accolades. 9. Dust Magnet 10. No Force Feedback That being said I don't regret my purchase, the Blu Ray was worth the price of admission, even though I have and prefer HD DVD

actually you can just tap the ps button while you are listen to music and you can do other things!

The fact that Im still in the states and not at my house in japan, where my 40 inch sony HDTV is located.  Im playin on a little like 24 inch tuber.  PLUS i havent been able to connect it to the internet yet, because yet again, im still in the states.  And last but not least....OBLIVION isnt out yet.  Not really a big rpg'er but my friend had morrowind for xbox and then he got oblivion for his pc, and my brian about turned to jelly! its amazing what you can do with the amount of freedom that it allows.  Its like gta, back in the day.  Other than that, im 100% happy about the ps3!!!!

Currently its just the fact that there are a small amount of games...I guess it would be okay if it scaled PS2 games to 720p...but thats not a big deal...

So...I guess no games...but that seems like a lame excuse for something to hate about a console

Even though the PSN is free which is nice, SOny has known for a while they wanted to bring this kind of service to us while we have been waiting for the PS3 to come out. I think they could have put in a little more work to have it running a little smoother as far as the downloads and demos we should have by now. Online seems lag free so not complaining about that just more content i believe should be there already

people often confuse force feedback and rumble (or vibration). no standard console controller supports force feedback on any console. force feedback is used on steering wheels for racing games. it gives a realistic reaction to the steering wheel in that it makes it tougher to turn the wheel depending on the situation, and will jerk the steering wheel around a little where necessary.

so what happens when you dont have an online connection, and have the 360 vs the ps3.  It just depends on the games.  Its all about preference.

Lack of good games, but I had the same problem with the 360 earlier on.  The only other problem I have is the online.  It's not even close to XBLive.  Even in it's earlier stages, live was much better.

I believe that its all about preference.  im not biased about any system, although i do have a ps3, but i play them all.  But i cant play metal gear for 360, and i cant play halo 3 for the ps3.  it just depends on what you wanna play.  They both have amazing graphics, they both have their pros and cons, its all about what you would rather play, and deal with.

the price, and the ps store. sony could make the store much more better for the benefit of them and the consumer. for sony to be so big in the entertainment industry, they should have new content every other day. and why are they putting ps games just for the psp and not playable on the ps3? but all my complaints can be fixed.

for now the 360 is doing better just because they have one more year  in the market, but if the ps3 make some changes i think have a chance to tied the 360, i mean blue-ray rocks!!
