I hope this matches gaming discussion. I was curious about how each member's family, if they're living with you, viewed the PS3, if they play it, or if they even know of its existence. I'm...trusting an argument couldn't possibly stem from this, so be respectful!

Well, on some of my favorite days you'll find me sitting in the middle of my sofa playing PS3 with my 5yr old daughter on one side of me and my 3yr old son on the other. If he didn't pull on my thumbs so much while I'm playing you may find my 4 month old boy in my lap. lol. My wife doesn't always appreciate its existence, but she knows how much I love gaming so she's very very cool about it. She also likes to watch blu-rays. My family digs the PS3! What's my kids' favorite game, you ask?...... Uncharted 2. My 3yr old drools the whole time.... Of course, so do I. :P

Whenever I come back to visit my family in the summer, I always bring back my ps3 and my mother hates it with a passion.

I live alone.... I honestly don't think my family would give a crap about it though. When I have to babysit my nephews, the always want to play LittleBigPlanet. That's the extent of their caring about it. :P

Even though my 21 year-old brother basically stopped gaming a while before the PS3 came out, he's still been intrigued enough to play through Uncharted 1 and 2 (since we were both huge fans of Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter games). My 11 year old sister tried learning to play a few games, but she was too impatient to build any kind of skill in gaming. My parents are indifferent towards it.

17 Year old sister is the most casual of us siblings. Multiplayer games and some RPGs are the only ones she'll really play. Persona 3 was a shocker for us all. The one that's 15 plays every JRPG I have as well as SSX3. Our youngest, 9, will play all the multiplayer games. All of them have a surprising amount of skill in one area or another. My mother is the only non-gamer. :P

All 3 of my brothers use the PS3, my younger brother plays it casually, my older brother plays CoD like no tomorrow and makes it seem more like a chore or a job rather than fun and my oldest brother just watches movies and occasionally plays LBP or Bomberman.

Pretty much indifference, that and my mother hates how much games cost. The only other gamer in my family is my older brother but he lives on his own so he has his own ps3. Though when I'm ay my dad's place, my dad and I will play some NHL 2K7 on his Xbox(original).

Awww. There's nothing like a cool mom. Too bad mines a b----! :P Na, my mom saw how bummed I was in the seventh grade when I couldn't get a PSOne for my birthday (she couldn't afford one) so she barrowed money from my grandma, came and picked me up early from school, took me home, and sat me down in front of a PSOne with Final Fantasy VII. She said, "Play til your brains fall out." I was so happy I cried. I love my mama. :)

Thank you. I'm 6'8" and 310lbs with a tattoo and a mohawk and I will cry like a freakin' baby if properly prevoked. It really pisses me off when a dude thinks he is too manly to have a little heart! :P

My parents dont' play it but they're quite impressed with the graphics when they pass by and have a look...

My mother always asks me if I'm playing or watching a real match when I'm playing PES, while my father makes sarcastic

comments when I'm playing Fallout 3, about how long the game is and what I'm supposed to do besides making heads explode... :D

He also always says Heavenly Sword is the best looking game he has ever seen...

Mom- Just likes Heavy Rain on the PS3. She a casual gamer and will sometimes sitdown ad play a game for a while (DMC, GoW, Silent Hill) but recently she hardly plays anything.

Dad- He gets his game on every once in a while but has yet to touch my PS3, he's more of a 360 person. He probably will Monday when he see's Dantes Inferno or March when GoW III is released.

Sister 1- Plays KH, Tetris and Animal Crossing everyonce in a while, never touched my PS3

Sister 2- Doesnt play games.

I'm the only one in my family who uses it, except for my cousins who like to play NBA or Madden sometimes when they visit. But they usually prefer to play Fifa on the SNES.

My Mum plays no games but sort of just accepts that I like them :P My Dad only plays racing games, mainly dirt 2, but he's awful. My sister plays with me on co-op, mainly LBP.

There are no gamers in my family, it sucks. They either don't care or dislike the fact that I enjoy playing video games.

Dude my Mom used to play Super Mario on SNES with me, I love her. Pretty much anything pre 3d praphics she played with me. We even beat PoP on NES together SHe often used to buy some of my games back in the day. I have to say no one i my Family games like me. But my xousin is stil considered a hardcore gamer, in fact he's #1 or 3 on the ranks on MK3 on Live. My other cousin used to be a hardcore Tetris Player and he played it non stop on the Dreamcast, or Sega Saturn I forget. Now he has a PS3 and plays Fifa 10 everyday. lol My other cousin has a PS3 and plays Rock Band 2 only from my understanding. Also my other cousin plays only Rock Band 2 on her PS2 and has a DS, though her dad(my Uncle) likes games but I don't think he plays anymore. I was so stupid to have given him Prince Of Persia SoT I might need to borrow it from him and play it again. Also I gave him an extra copy of GoW 2 which I purchased it "accidentally" a mistake to say the least.

Mine's locked away in my room sealed up tight from anyone in my house besides my daughter when she stays with me on the weekends. She seems to like it because she was just watching me play Arkham Asylum the other night and loved it.

I have an old lady, but I obviously don't live with her. I think it might end up being sooner than later for when that time comes so hopefully she likes it. She better or she's gone! lol jk
