Ok well I just got a ps3, I already had an xbox 360. So I played some music on my ps3, which is hooked up to my surround system and the loudd party speakers outside. So I turned both speaker sets on. Pretty loud, enjoyed it. So I took the 'remote' (Six axis controller) out of the room to see if Id still be able to pause and play the music. Heyy it worked, no biggie. Then I thought, hmm wonder if itd work upstairs? And yup it did. Oh hey wonder if itd work outside on my driveway? Yup it did. Then i wondered whether itd work further up my street. Still could hear it pause and play. At this point i was really pumped, so i wondered what would happen if i went a little further about 200 m further up the street. Got ma mate to check, and yup it worked. So Sony's Playstation 3's Six Axis controller can still work that far....wonder how far my 360 controller would work up to? Well i tried the same thing and, well, it hardly worked out of the room :? Gotta luv the power of the ps3 ;)
Ya ive fooled around with it to man this one time i was driving my parents crazy because i kept pausing and playing it up stairs in my room with the ps3 downstairs. They thought something was wrong with the TV lol:D
I never realized bluetooth had that kind of range. I know 200 m will never be needed but that just means nothing should get in the way of it working when your playing.
