Anyone ever play Folklore?
yokofox33
I've played some of it. Game is decent. It's worth a playthrough if you can get it for cheap, but I wouldn't pay 40-50 bucks for it. The presentation is weird during cutscenes. It's like a comic book style, but it just feels weird. Combat is pretty solid though.
Thanks. I've been watching more videos on it and I'll probably pass on getting the game. How long is the Saboteur's campaign and is there any replay value?
I finished AC2 and I'm returning it because there's not much to do afterwards
25 hours I think. As far is replay value I'd say quite littleHow long is the Saboteur's campaign and is there any replay value?

Call of Duty World at War or the Saboteur?
I want a WWII game, but have not been able to decide which is best. I have both CoD MW and CoD MW2, and like them, but never got WAW, should I egt that, or try the Saboteur. From watching the Saboteur review, it looks like the graphics and gameplay are quite poor. Which is best, and which should I get
PS. Is it worth renting The Saboteur first?
Yeah I would say Assasin's Creed isnt very replayable. Really their is more to do then the first game but missions are still very repetitive.
Kill guy, follow guys friend, kill guy rinse and repeat. The kind of different missions like the carnival games are not very fun either and I found myself just wishing them to be over.
Overall its a good game though, definitely nice if youre one of those people who likes a lot of side missions and collecting hidden stuff.
I want to pick up a game that has co-op and a good replay value im now debating between Demon souls and Borderlands which one better overall
Wesrcks13
If you want a game where you can actually hook up with your friends and play, Borderlands. Demon's Souls' co-op is done randomly, and there is no chat or anything.
If you're looking for a co-op experience, probably Borderlands. You can play the entire game co-op. Demon's Souls is more about single player. You can bring in random people to help you if you are having trouble, but it's more satisfying playing by yourself.
I need to get 1 or 2 new games. I will probably get Demon's Souls for sure but need one more solid game. Deciding between ACII, Dragon Age, Batman: AA and Uncharted 2 (finised single player once, borrowed from friend, want to play again and also play multiplayer). Or any other good game worth the money. Thanks.Sleyin
Apples and oranges. Those are all great games, you just gotta choose one. I know, it's hard!
Since you're already getting an RPG with Demon's Souls, take out Dragon Age. Okay I narrowed it down by 1!

Lol. Thanks for that. Yeah all of them are great. I am leaning more towards ACII but I didn't enjoy the first one that much. A lot of missions were boring and practically the same thing again and again (heard they fixed this though). Also decided no to go with Batman, maybe when the price drops. So U2 and ACII now.
I generally will always choose the game that has a great multiplayer component over one with just a single player. Assasins Creed is a good game but I wouldnt call it absolutely amazing, Uncharted on the other hand is awesome, Ive already beaten it twice and I really like the multiplayer. Plus the first Assasin's Creed dropped in price fairly quickly and is dirt cheap now, I expect the second one to do the same.
I really dont think the missions in AC2 are that varied, it generally ends up being the same thing over and over with a few missions thrown in that are different. Its definitely not a game I could see myself playing more then once.
Might as well trade in your Fallout3 if you have it and get GOTY. If not its just extra missions, so if you really enjoyed the game, then the DLC is probably for you.Is it worth buying all the fallout 3 DLCS or should i just buy the Game of the year edition?

I haven't played the DLCs but from what I've heard, some are more worth it than others. Maybe look for some reviews and only buy a couple of them, rather than getting the GOTY edition. Unless you're a big Fallout 3 fan and want them all.
I actually picked up the GOTY edition for 30 bucks last week. Don't know if it was just a crazy promotion or something, but I'd check your local stores. Is it worth buying all the fallout 3 DLCS or should i just buy the Game of the year edition?

People are assuming its a price error lol, I did the exact same thing :) Some FS and BB were sold out before the sale even started hahahaIs it worth buying all the fallout 3 DLCS or should i just buy the Game of the year edition?

I need a good game with offline co-op. I already have Resistance 1 & 2 and LBP. I was thinking about Borderlands, any other suggestions?

Borderlands is a great choice, if youre patient the Army of Two sequel comes out the 12th of January or you could just pick up the first one for real cheap now.

Does Borderlands have offline versus?Awesome but I meant can I play against another player in split-screen like CoD (I don't like CoD enough to actually buy it)?Yes Borderlands has 2 player offline co-op. And by the way, look what I found!

I would tell him to get Uncharted 1 and Metal Gear. Both are like 20-30 bucks now so he can get them both for the price of Uncharted 2.
Also although you dont really have to play the first Uncharted for the story in the second one but I definitely think it enhances the experience having played the first before hand.

I second that. If he is new to this gen, I wouldn't start with Uncharted 2, it'll make everything else seem like a step back. :P

You really can't compare those two games at all, they are completely different. They just happen to be set in the same time period.
WaW is a realistic (as far as COD goes) FPS, like MW only during WWII. The Saboteur is a ridiculous, over the top open-world game where you blow alot of stuff up to help liberate France ( FYI, a drunk Irish racecar driver didn't liberate France in real life. :P )
WaW is good but not as good as MW or MW2. The saboteur is a very fun game, but very rough around the edges.
I want a co-op game that the whole campaign can be played like Resident Evil 5 and Gears of War.. got any tips?
ps. not Army of Two
big_
Check this site out
The games that I know of like that are Army of Two (woops) and Borderlands. The Army of Two sequal is coming next month and looks to be an improvement if that means anything.

If you love story and character driven RPG's then no way will you regret it.
Should I get Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, or some other games this Christmas?
I like RPG games, mostly turn-based to be honest, but Western RPGs are alright. I did not like Oblivion and I thought Fallout 3 was okay (if knowing that would help with the decision-making). Supposedly Demon's Souls is amazing, but ridiculously hard at the same time. This game interests me because of the challenge.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is supposedly a mind-blowing experience. The only thing is that I haven't played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I just don't want to play through the game if a lot of info is needed from the last game in order to understand what's going on in the current story. When I played MGS4, I was like "Wow, this is awesome, but do I have a reason to care about 80% of the characters in the main cast?"(meaning I haven't played any of the MGS games before MGS4).
If there are any other games you'd recommend, let me know. I want to figure out which game to get within the next day or two.
Here are the games I already have (Including PSN, although I'd like the recommendations to be disc-based games):
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Warhawk
Grand Theft Auto IV
LittleBigPlanet
God of War Collection
Fat Princess
Linger in the Shadows
Pixeljunk Eden
flOw
Ragdoll Kung Fu (I got this one for free)
Other info:
FPS games are okay, I'm not really into them all that much. I thought Bioshock was pretty cool.
I'm not interested in racing games or sports games.
If it's not a game you'd recommend to anyone (regardless of their taste in games), don't recommend it.

Yes, you should pick up Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed II...
Well if youre not a huge fan of western RPGs then Demon Souls might not be for you.
You really dont have to play the first Uncharted to get anything about the second one, it will just give you a better understanding of some the interactions between the characters.
I wanna know 2 things: is the new Batman asylem game, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves any good? They rated close to Goldeneye 007 and I was wondering if it was really that good. I find it hard to believe, but hey to each his own.

No they're awful. Just awful.
Awfully great! (see what I just did there ;) ) Uncharted 2 is clearly the greater of the two though. It's a must have if there ever was one.
