The Rules Of Being A True Gamer

This is for all who want to participate in listing rules that you feel make you or others true gamers. Lets try and get this to 100 at least.

1. A person who has a mind of their own. A true gamer doesn't need reviews to decide what games they should get. A true gamer decides on his/hers own to buy the game.

2. A person who respects all systems for, but aknowledges them for their ups and downs. (Doesn't have the erge to participate in SW)

3. A true gamer does not have to have all systems or has to have been a gamer for many years. A true gamer can be someone who's first system is a ps3, but as long as they stay true to the gaming community...that's all that matters.

4. A true gamer doesn't have to know the ins/outs of the gaming community, but shoud know the correct information about matter at hand. (People giving false information about home releases)

Agreed! Any-one who has neglected any of their responsibilities so he or she could play a game can be considered a true gamer, untill they assume that their game and/or system preferences are better than any-one else's.

i got problems with your entire post. FIRST OFF! reviews are like critics and evals based on a standard a site has. that applies to gamers (who have standards) as well. i look at reviews from other members cause its gives me a better opinion of a game i don't know nothing about. I've been a gamer for 20+ years. Trust me, gaming is NOT a waste of time. I absolutely love gaming........But I don't think we should be depending on other people's opinions as to what a "True Gamer" is. A "True Gamer" is a state of mind, not an opinion.

Well that was kinda true till Micro came in. Than that was plenty of a good excuse to not own one. But when it was Sega, Sony and Nintendo, alot had all 3. Then Micro mad a note that machine was coming, and Sega did not wanna get stuck between them and Sony, and dropped. Alot think that Sony did something to Sea, Na stories all wrong. Sega made Sony games right away after for a good reason, they knew the bad guy was coming.
