This is kinda like #1 but. A true gamer is one that goes out of their way to play "unknown" games, and not always plays "big-hype" games. Who can respect games not on their Story or Graphics, but for the overall "feel" of the game. One's that come to mind: Bushido Blade 2, Guilty Gear XX, Zone of the Enders 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, and others. Although some of the storylines of these games were decent, it wouldn't be the reason why you'd want to play them.zatoninja

EDIT: Also, a true gamer should already know what they like (or research the games they don't know) instead going around here asking "what game should I get?" or "convince me to buy *insert name here*"

Well that was kinda true till Micro came in. Than that was plenty of a good excuse to not own one. But when it was Sega, Sony and Nintendo, alot had all 3. Then Micro mad a note that machine was coming, and Sega did not wanna get stuck between them and Sony, and dropped. Alot think that Sony did something to Sea, Na stories all wrong. Sega made Sony games right away after for a good reason, they knew the bad guy was coming.

you have a point , I don't know why people have hatred towards sony and say crap like they copy other companys and say they killed of sega cuz they won 2 gens and now a format war. Well you probably would of been pretty good on any type of team than. Or at least people would work with you, and coaches would be more than willing to work with you. Coaches love players like that.

Ex: I usually hate FPS games, but after seeing some gameplay, doing a bit of research and asking my friends what they thought about it, I decided to try out COD4. Now I play it all the time.

I don't geet jealous, I just think it's good for those who have a X360 that they can enjoy a great game like Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect. I wouldn't waste over 500 bucks for just 2 games. Not everyone can ditch this amount of money...
