hate to tell u guys this but the sims 3 will only be on the PC and will be released on June 2nd. Go to ea.com to check it out for yourself . ace2123

I would welcome Sims 3 onto the PS3 if it did happen but then again looked what happened when EA ported The Sims 2 for PS2.

Well they said if you have a computer that you purchased in the past 5 years, you should be able to play it. It doesn't require that much.

Well they said if you have a computer that you purchased in the past 5 years, you should be able to play it. It doesn't require that much.

but here are the system requirements for the pc according to ign

Desktop PC (Windows XP + SP2):
CPU: 2ghz Pentium4 Processor or Amd Athlon 2000+ Processor
RAM: 1 GB of RAM
GPU: 128mb Video Card (GeForce FX 5900 or Radeon 9500)

So YAY it will runz...

i would prefer to use a mouse imo.

Well I play on a laptop because I like to sometimes just lie in my bed and play. But you will need to go buy some more ram if you want to play some games on your PC. Just the sims might be fine but if you add more and more you might want to. It's around $90 I think for every GB extra.

ram doesn't cost $90 a gig! you can get 2 gigs of ddr3 2000 ram for $70 but he most likly want need ram that fast.

The Sims 2 for PS2 was a port for the original game on PC despite them being very different versions that's what i meant by ported.
