Well, title says it all.

5: Resistance 2. Great matchmaking on that bad boy. Really fun to play too. And the possibility to customize your loadout.

4: Army of Two (I will edit this into the 40th Day when it comes out). Very creative modes and good gameplay. Also, the variety of weapons available. Customization of loadout is great as well.

3: Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Great game online and off. Customization of armor, intensity and sense of equality of matches. Also posssible to customize classes and loadout.

2: Red Faction: Guerrilla. AMAZING FUN. Big variety of guns. Downside is no loadout customization, but your favorite weapons are easily found throughout the map, trust me. You won't die without finding them at least once.

1: Nothing has ever surpassed the multiplayer of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Overall, I think Resistance 2 is a much better game, with the amazing campaign and cooperative gameplay. A lot better. But the multiplayer of CoD4 speaks alone and for itself. Amazing online. Customization is limitless, and while in Resistance 2 you can have only one perk, here you can have 3. They are less effective, but define you better and gives your player more identity. You'll never find two players looking and shooting the same in CoD4, and that's what I love about it.

Well I've only played a few since I've only had my PS3 for two months buy CoD4 would be my #1.

Everyone will agree with this, hopefully. CoD4 doesn't have the best campaign and a flat story, but it's multiplayer is worth its 60 bucks.

I've been wanting to get it, but the replay value is baaaaaaad. We all know people will stop playing it soon, and we'll be left with nothing to play by ourselves. That's why I'm buying replayable games only now.

Also, is it really a shooter? IGN and Gamespot and other places keep saying it's "duuuh... 'Action Adventure'". No, dumbasses. Prince of Persia is "Action-Adventure". This is a "shoot, cuz that's the only way out of trouble" kind of game.

I'm thinking about picking it up, but is it really worth 15$? there alot of ppl playin? replayability? etc

uncharted 2 is number one fore sure, the beta only had two maps and games modes and i was still addicted to it, the match making is a bit like halo but it works great and the co op just adds that much more, best part was either pulling people off a 2 foot ledge and killing them or kicking the guy that was hanging

5) Battlefield Bad Company (All the battlefields have awesome multiplayer with beautiful maps and this is NOT an exception. Destructibility? Awesome!)

4)Far Cry 2 (LOVE the custom maps!)

3)MGO (The Charm ability? Entrancing!)

My opinion is: Meh game. Whats the point of 256 payers if you'll fight with 4 or 5 at tops, at the same time? ._.

1. CoD 4 - My favorite online game this generation so far.

2. Resistance 2 - Great game, I like the different guns and berserks.

3 BF: BC - It's fun playing both conquest and gold rush modes (I got 1943 as well and it's good also).

4. Warhawk - It was hard to play in the beginning, but once you find something in the game that you're good at, it's great fun.

5. Killzone 2 - It was fun for a while, but it just wasn't as addicting as the other games.

On a side note, the only reason I got tired with KZ 2 I think was because I just got bored of shooters in general.

Lol, that was soo awesome to hide in the middle pit on the plaza map and then grab people coming in. I recently tried doing that in the first Uncharted game...it didn't work and then the guy I was trying to grab shot me point-blank with the grenade launcher, officially owned.

5. Killzone 2 - It was fun for a while, but it just wasn't as addicting as the other games.

On a side note, the only reason I got tired with KZ 2 I think was because I just got bored of shooters in general.

I'm bored of shooters at the moment but when I was really into them, it'd probably go like this. 1 - Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Call of Duty 4(while extremely frustrating it can be extremely fun too) 3 - Killzone 2 4 - Metal Gear Online(I loved the game modes in there, too bad the game takes hardly any skill) 5 - Battlefield 1943

Honorable mentions: Call of Duty: World at War, SOCOM: Confrontation (this one was close for 5th place for me), Team Fortress 2, and Battlefield 1943.

5. Warhawk- Nice game with great online play, love the way flying a plane and manning an AA gun and running on foot each has its own rewards. I mean, there's not one definitive best.

4. Resistance 2- A blast to play, with amazing competitive play and chaotic battles(disturbingly similar to Halo[for me]) and great co-op online, a must-buy for PS3 online shooter fans.

3. Call of Duty: World At War- Same thing as CoD4, but didn't have that same addictive feel to it, don't know why. Still amazing though.

2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare- One of the best online experiences EVER. Halo who? This game blew ma socks off. Customization was fantastic, and the gameplay was fast-paced and intense.

1. Killzone 2- OMG. Unbelievable fun. Extremely intense and chaotic battles, with an emphasis on teamwork, your team needs a couple of every class or you're screwed! The stat tracking is great, Guerilla keeps pumping more content into the game, and HAVE YOU PLAYED WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS ALL WITH MICS? It's the most fun I've ever had in an online shooter. This one is NOT to be missed.
