Ghouls and ghost's for the sega comes to mind. But the most recent has to be God of War fighting the minotaur boss. I do not know what it was about him, but he killed me for a solid 5 hours.

Recently only in bad Street Fighter 4 slumps.
This reminds me of a time when I was playing Virtua Fighter on the Sega Saturn way back in the gap. My little cousin got so frusterated loosing against me that he flipped out and starting swinging the controller in the air, like a lasso or a mace, while simultaneously screaming and crying. He never released the controller but it made for a hilarious moment and a mental image that I'll never forget.
Well my biggest moment would of have to been when is was playing MGSO and I got tranqed. I was trying so damn hard to recover so I could have any chance of winning. So I am sitting here rotating the left analong like a mad man and right when I am about to get back up some guy just snipes me. So I throw my ps3 controller on the ground. The I positioned the controller directly under my chairs leg and sat down a broke the controller in two. My girlfriend thought I was going insanse because I tell her I have two girlfriends "Her" and the "PS3". LOL
quick time events in re5 pretty much ruined that game for me..

They ruin pretty much any game for me. Bourne (whatever), SW: The Force Unleashed, RE5, Ninja Blade........ Just to name a few. They had HORRIBLE quick time events! I'm a lazy gamer with slow reflexes. I pretty much always miss them the first time around and then you either take damage and have to kill something some more until you can try again or you have to just start over the sequence. I really hate if its during like a cool looking cutscene so you want to watch and forget to hit the buttons. Man I hate that! And IREALLY hate when they change the sequence each try, so if you keep failing at it theres no way to remember the sequences for a little edge. They break up the pace of the game and really do nothing to make it fun. It looks cool, but why can't I just hit one button and enjoy watching the ****! ARRRHHH!!! I don't have a controller, but now I'm mad enough to throw my laptop! I need to write a blog about this, because I always find myself ranting when someone brings them up on here. Lord.........
The only game with tasteful QTE that I can think of is God of War. When people told me in there I was disappointed and almost changed my mind about playing the game. But they weren't bad. Most of them are optional and offer a little incentive like extra health and mana if you do them. There was only one in the whole game that I had to repeat (involved a bunch of joystick rotations). All in all I really enjoyed that game!
But I still hate Quicktime Events!!!
I think that's insane that you puposely destroyed a $60 contoller. WTF?Well my biggest moment would of have to been when is was playing MGSO and I got tranqed. Ghouls and Ghosts! Classic frustration, that game could end a marriage.Ghouls and ghost's for the sega comes to mind. But the most recent has to be God of War fighting the minotaur boss. I do not know what it was about him, but he killed me for a solid 5 hours.

well id have to say and dont make fun of me but I could probably say NASCAR 06 has probably given me the most gamerage out of
any game imaginable lol and also madden 07man My neighbors could practically hear me transforming into some beast lmao
COD:WAW Veteran Mode, definatley the most frustaiting although when I'm winning 2-1 in the 89th minute and suddenly I lose 2-3 on FIFA 09that gets me angry!!! I also HATE leavers in Fifa e.g. guy with 449,000 odd points, obviously doesn't have a life (I have 13,500 points and I got the Platinum long ago.) I'm winning 3-0before half time and he leaves! I thought if he's got that many point he'd at least have a go at beating me it doesn't appear he's got anything better to do.
Just wanna say that my PS2 controllers are absolutely wrecked; plastic missing, the shocks not working and showing through the surface and all that.
THe only PS3 game that i remember throwing my controller during is Ninja Gaiden. It was the demon boss that you fight in the church. Holy crap that was cheap.
Call of Duty World at War on Veteran...Mission where you have to get into the Reichstag...So many grenades lol at one point I counted and had 9 thrown at me at the same time....
wow, if those games got you guys frustrated, I suggest not to play demon's souls.johnlennon28Is Demon's Souls harder than games like Ninja Gaiden/ DMC3/ Metal Arms? I really hope it is because I could do with a nice challenging game. :) Oh, and I've never had a 'controller-throwing' moment. Closest I've ever come is probably on the Dracula boss of 'I wanna be the guy' on PC.
I try not to throw my controllers anymore cuz my dualshock is my only FULLY working controller right now... Once during Uncharted, one playing veteran on COD5, and one during COD4 online...
About 5 minutes ago. I was playing Burnout Paradise, the final event to get 100% on the whole game. I have been stuck on this event for 45 minutes! Ahh!

I have yet to have a controller throwing moment in demons souls. maybe I just haven't got to the right parts, but so far i find demons souls hard but not frustrating. probably because deaths haven't felt cheap. if i died it was usually because I got impatient or careless (or someone invaded my game). Fighting Seth from SF4 on the other hand feels cheap.
i have a few:
- fighting radec on elite difficulty on KZ2, that dam balcony stage...i cant articulate how frustrating it is.
- ninja gaiden sigma on hard, towards the end, having to face like 7 bosses with no saving in between is utterly ridiculous, the game is hard enough on normal.
- fighting seth in SFIV, his laugh...
- online in Motorstorm PR, i was JUSTabout to win my 3rd ranked race in a row for the trophy, but then i was called so i instinctively pressed pause, but i forgot i was online, so they all passed me right at the finish line...
that ninja gaiden sigma example is dead on, that part and the first boss on top of the blimp both had me throwing my controller quite a few times.I have never had a moment like that. I can't imagine people being that immature to do such a thing. If a game gets to me and I start getting frustrated, I just turn the system off or play something different. But throwing a controller.....I am a bit more grown up than that, sorry.
CoD: WaW on veteran that game is so damn cheap on that difficulty setting it still get the juices flowing when I think about it.

oh i know.. mercenaries 2 hijacking pissed me off, 007 some boss(?) fights grrr... i purposely skip games the require fast reflexes (button mashing) only to find my favorite genres to contain them as well.. drives me up the damn wall.. i actually did break a controller on mgs4 microwave part also lots of profanity.. it's such a useless gameplay type.. i rather watch a cutscene or actually play the game.. i don't want to try and watch a cutscene while focusing in on a small part of the screen where a button will pop up,..I've never actually thrown my controller. I don't understand why some people do, I must either have more self control or be better at video games than most. I've been tempted to throw it many times though, the last time was on PS2 with Soul Calibur. I haven't really been tempted on PS3.
That's the first one that came to my mind. yea pretty much that for me aswell[QUOTE="zarshack"]

hmm a controller throwing moment for me was playing soul calibur and i kept getting owned by the apprentice douche....made me so mad
Everytime my sister has ever "accidentially" shut one of my consoles off on me I've wanted to throw the remote at her. And when I played Jersey Devil or Tomba for the PS and Super Mario for the Nintendo,I used to get super frustrated and want to throw the remote.
I have 4 broken Sixaxis' behind my PS3. 3 of them I spiked into the ground while playing CoD4. The crap people pull on that game just send me through the roof. My 2 Dualshock 3s have held up well against my anger. I tossed them on the ground several times and they still work fine.
I don't get that annoyed with single players game. I mean I'll get frustrated at certain parts, but I never have broken a controller because of it.

Glad to see someone who feels my pain. That's the most annoying part for me: Trying to watch the action while you are forced to focus on a pot on the screen where an effen button will appear. That's BS. That just ruins all that intense action they worked so hard to provide.I have 4 broken Sixaxis' behind my PS3. 3 of them I spiked into the ground while playing CoD4.
