Try Darksiders when i played it it felt like a mix of Zelda and god of war! you even get weapons that resemble the hook shot and the boomerang haha and you have to use your new weapons to progress through the level i think its the most zelda-esk game Ive played aside from 3d dot game heroes

You have strong opinions, but if you are going to post them why not post why you have that opinion, this fella is asking for help so if you tell him why you didn't like it he could balance the pros and cons.

I've never played a single zelda game (yeah, yeah, yeah...keep your judgments to yourselves...I done heard them all) but the games I often hear people compare it to are : Darksiders, 3D dot game heroes, and to a lesser extent, Batman Arkham Asylum and Demon's Souls...
I extremely enjoyed all the above games (save for 3d dot which I haven't played)...maybe I'll give Zelda a chance.................................one day.
