Just a few things I'm curious on and figure i can get quicker answers here than getting off my backside and researching myself. :P

Uh just a few things really;

Whats the difference between a slim PSP and a PSP3000? Do i need a 3000 or is a slim fine enough?

I heard the battery life was bad, is this true? Does it come with a plug n charge? Can i buy one anywhere?

Hows the support? I know it supposedly had a slow year in 08 but it has games I like the look of..sadly I've not followed it closely is there much coming up for it?

Thanks for any help!

HiI have a psp and im kind of an expert. Now i will answer your questions.

Apsp slim is fine enough, but i would recomend the psp3000 bundle. Because first of all it comes with a memory card, movie, a pretty good game, and a wall charger. And you can find a psp most anywhere, but i would recomend Gamestop. I hope I helped! 8)

PSP 3000 has a slightly better screen and a built-in microphone. To be honest I can't tell the difference between them.I prefer the slim because its battery lasts a bit longer. It'll be fine for you, I'm sure.

The battery life isn't great -- I get about 5 -6 hours of gameplay before I need a recharge. It's pretty decent if you aren't taking it on long trips or playing for ridiculous amounts of time.

Yup, it comes with a cable to charge the system.

I don't know where you live so I can't say where you can buy one. Most places with an electronics section or the Sony store have them.

Sony support is good but the PSP is a well-built product so I don't think you'll have to worry. :)

Not a ton coming up for it -- Patapon 2, an Assassin's Creed sequel I hear, and some others. There are tons of great games out for the system already -- God of War, Resistance, Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal, Daxter, GTA, etc.

Since this one wasn't answered, I'll say it: The battery life is kinda bad, clocking in at about 5~6 hours, and can easily be reduced to 3 hours buy a visually straining game like Resistance Retribution. You should be able to find a charger grip of sorts somewhere that can increase the battery life by a few hours. But your main priority is a memory stick as the PSP being without internal memory is completely useless without one. I recommend a 2GB.

there are quite a bit of new games coming out, just not many in the near future.
