Thinking of buying a ps3... need help,

well, im pretty pissed off today, My 3rd xbox 360 broke, and surprisingly it didnt get the 3 RROD it got 2... which means overheat.. even if i let it rest for 10 hours it still overheats within 2 minutes (thanks for the **** console ms) and just today from being so pissed off i was thinking, hey maybe i should get a PS3.... (we have one in the house just its not mine and i hardly play it) itleast the PS3 isnt having gay problems like the RROD... and its online service is free,, which surprisingly works better then LIVE ive had so much problems with live this year it makes me wonder why i have to pay for it. so what i wanetd to know was what kinda stuff does the PS3 have and etc... what game should i get? should i get the 40gig? or better? when do the rumble controllers come out? cause i really dont like the sixaxis,

Note ive tried searching for ps3 games but i cant seem to find alot that i like so far its just socom(which isnt out yet) uncharted is pretty cool to, so im just trying to get opinions on what good games are out there and or coming out..

ok.. it depends on wat games you like but i recommend u play....uncharted, ninja GS (unless u played the old ones), warhawk, Cod4, fokelore, ratched and clank (its a bit on the easy side), resistance (i loved the campiagn, multiplayer is crazy too), oblivion (unless u played it), and UT3...theres more but i havent played them...

sixaxis is coming out pretty soon....hopfully in feb, if not..march, but u can get them NOW if u buy it online at playasia.com or something..i cant remember.

psn works great...sure theres not as much stuff as live, but its free and no lag unless ur connection is bad...good luck man

Picked myself up a ps3 while the 360 was in the shop and ended up liking it more :O. I can leave it on for hours without worrying about rrod or anything and the games are decent but Im looking forward to the future titles :).

Well, just to get facts straight, PS3 isn't unbreakable either =P. My first PS3 broke after 2 weeks of owning it, treated it perfect etc, just stopped reading discs. The older models have a 1% failure rate i hear, but the newer models break easier they say, due to the cost reduction in manufacturing. Don't get me wrong lol, i love ps3, just giving you both sides. Mine was replaced NP though, and since then this ones worked like a charm. I havn't even turned it off hardly.. Its been about 2 weeks since ive had new one lol. I've had it Folding@Home almost since ive gotten it when im not playing games no problems so far.

COD4 is a must get!

keep your xbox. you will regret not having it. the games speak for its self. ms has a 3 year warrenty on them. so send it back and get another one. PS3 is not a gaming console. Its a Blu ray player, that plays games. If it didn't play blu-ray it would be another dreamcast.BuddhaManJB
