So you're saying that months ago, when this statement was made and Home planned for a fall release, Sony - in their ever expanding ability to predict the future - hinted that they planned all along to delay Home until 3.0 came out? So does this mean, to you, the announcement that home would be released in the Spring - a mere 3 to 4 months away - was yet another clever rouse to get us to believe it would be released before 3.0? I mean, if the current update progression is to be any guide, 3.0 would more likely be a Fall release. So that would mean Sony purposefully lied to everyone, knowing full well it would cause some people to lose faith, give its competition time to catch up, lower stock price points (any delay in a major announcement does this to a degree) and tick off gamers worldwide. Yeeeeaaaah.
Seems more than a bit...well, there's no other way to say it really...stupid, don't you think?

A long time ago, when Home was first announced, some Sony representitive with a bald head was talking about "Web 2.0" (interactive website like Last.fm etc.). He mentioned that Home is gaming's equivalent of "Web 2.0" but he called it "Gaming 2.0" (or "Gaming 3.0", I can't remember which) due to it's high level of interactivity.
Well, I can't say I remember where, but I know I read earlier that Sony said that the firmware updates have nothing to do with the actual number. It's just a progression thing. Ahh, who knows?
