i just came back from picking up Heavenly Sword at Game Crazy. After the transactions the clerk asked me if I wanted to reserve any other game. I said yeah Assassin's Creed. He said for the 360? I said no for PS3. He then proceeds to tell me that the game is a 360 exclusive!!! But he is staring into his computer and as far as my knowledge goes there is no place to reserve the A.C. for the PS3.... Someone tell me he is lying quick!!!
He's lying, or just sadly misinformed. It actually used to be a PS3 exclusive. I remember it being one of the "OMIGOD I NEED TO GET A PS3 THE SECOND IT COMES OUT" games that I read about in Game Informer almost 3 yrs ago.

I work in gaming retail, and its actually common to ask if for a certain system even only if it's made for one system. One example was when the High School Musical game out for DS, I made sure they wanted it for the DS because alot of people were asking about it and 100% certain it was for the Wii. However no Wii one was released. So it's always good to confirm the system beforehand.
LOL ya that guy knows nothing. It will be out on both systems. It was originally PS3 only then they decided to go for both systems. I think it's slated for both in november.
lol he lies. Shouldn't the store have cardboard boxes up saying its going to be released this date or something like that? I'm sure the gamestop near my house has stuff like that
he's lying... the gamestop website has both! I wouldn't count on the opinion or knowledge of most gamestop employees. They are paid minimum wage ($5.25 in PA) and the stores have to resort to hiring mostly high school kids. Not the most mature population on the planet right? It's logical to think that most stores are riddled with fanboys.
thats funny, i seem to find that most of the places i go to buy my games, have alot if not all xbox fanboys. all they want to do is talk about halo and if you really want to piss them off tell them you could care less for it. i do all the time. it really funny. but i really hate it when they are to sell me games based on what i buy, butthey only try to push 360 on me. i really want to tell them to piss of.last time i was there theywere talking bout this midnight madness that they aregoing to have for halo. he said all these people can line up at midnight to get there copy. now thats all fun in stuff but i think i would just wait the 9 hrs and get my copy that i pre paid for.

The High School Musical game is coming out for Wii in November, my brother is beta testing it right now, he won a beta copy of it from some contest on Radio Disney last month.
Back on topic, Assassin's Creed is definetly coming out for the PS3, sounds like you were dealing with a fan boy, but he may have just been uninformed
if he was a fanboy i would of told him to get his facts right and when A/C comes out shows it in front of his face (ps3 version of course). i hate fanboys.

He was lying (or misinformed, or too stupid to work the computer), but that's not why.The clerkasked "for the 360?" because the customer justbought Heavenly Sword, a PS3 title.
