Gamefly is great. It's basically NetFlix for games. I run through about six games a month and try the games I'm not sure of before I buy. I have a two-game plan that costs about $21 a month. Rent two games from the store and you're close.
As for buying games, you can't beat it. I bought Burnout Paradise for less than $50 and they mail you the casing for free. You get discounts the longer you're a member.
I always prefer to buy my games. Because what if you find a game you really enjoy? You'd still hafta pay for that montly fee of renting + the $50-60 to get the game.
Borrowing from friends is a different story.
I thinking about it....do you think it's worth it rather than buying games? I love collecting the games I play but I figure this might be cheaper. also, if you decide to keep the game, how much do they charge you? the same as if you bought it in a store? thanks.soundthealarm
I stopped using gamefly because they didn't have ps3 games available. It was like they had 2 copies for each game and they were always rented or maybe they just plain hated me. Buying games form gamefly is awesome: cheap and games good conditions. Although once I recieved a game that wasn't working but I got my money back.
