I thinking about it....do you think it's worth it rather than buying games? I love collecting the games I play but I figure this might be cheaper. also, if you decide to keep the game, how much do they charge you? the same as if you bought it in a store? thanks.

Gamefly is great. It's basically NetFlix for games. I run through about six games a month and try the games I'm not sure of before I buy. I have a two-game plan that costs about $21 a month. Rent two games from the store and you're close.

As for buying games, you can't beat it. I bought Burnout Paradise for less than $50 and they mail you the casing for free. You get discounts the longer you're a member.

i checked into cuz my friend does it, but to me its not worth it at all. i think its like 16 bucks for like 1 game at a time? and also, there are hardly any games i wanna rent that i would ever need a service like that. if you have multiple systems, sure. i just have the ps3 and already own the newest games. netflix on the other hand...is amazing

I use Gamefly like crazy and I own almost 20 PS3 games. I basically run through all the game that I'm not buying just to know why I'm not buying them.

I always prefer to buy my games. Because what if you find a game you really enjoy? You'd still hafta pay for that montly fee of renting + the $50-60 to get the game.

Borrowing from friends is a different story.

I used to collect games, but in adulthood unless you have a great job that part of your life is over. Being a college kid I don't have the money to buy all the games I want...I'm looking into Gamefly and thinking about buying only the games I REALLY want (GTA 4, Fable 2, Killzone 2) and renting the rest.

I stopped using gamefly because they didn't have ps3 games available. It was like they had 2 copies for each game and they were always rented or maybe they just plain hated me. Buying games form gamefly is awesome: cheap and games good conditions. Although once I recieved a game that wasn't working but I got my money back.
