Yes it fixes scratches very nicely. My screen got scratched pretty badly when it fell out of a car window and slid 20ft.

Also i had some dead pixels and i threw the sytem in the microwave, which fixed them right up.

My analog nub was a bit loose so i shot it with a 9mm, too.

/sarcasm

they're all stupid ideas

It's true. Also if you pour 2 tablespoons of salt in your umd drive it will help to load games faster.

people lets use some common sense here, what do you use toothpaste for? to get crap off your teeth, so its abrasive. Rubbing toothpaste on something aint a good idea if you ask me.

WAIT A SECOND PEOPLE! I haven't tried it on a psp, but when i put toothpaste on dvds that won't load, i carefully rub it all over scratched areas, and they then are able to work. I tried this with a quite a few mcdonald movies that were overly scratched and they worked, when they initially didn't. So before you say its a dumb idea, etc, it did infact work with my dvds. I don't know if it will work on scratches on the psp, but if it worked with my dvd it could work with your psp. google it, would be my advice.

Actually, I tried using a little bit of toothpaste for the fun of it, and all it did was clean some smudges off the screen. It didn't do any harm, honestly.
