gonna have to have a little think on this, but does FF count as a game series. although they all have the same name until recent times every game has been a stand alone story.
Zelda, Mario, Paper Mario, (Not the same. Mario I mean the platformers like NSMB, Galaxy, etc. Not games such as Mario Party and whatnot but Paper Mario is a different series altogether.) Call of Duty, MGS.
