Trophies Should Add Up

Any One Else Think That The Trophies Should Have Some Type Of Point System, Or Do You Like It The Way It Is, Speak On It

They should stay the way they are. This isn't the 360 I prefer a leveling system over a point system.

I like the level rank system. Plus, I like how it is broken down into what you actually got (bronze, silver, gold, platinum). I like how it shows the difficult things that you have completed. For instance, someone with 100 trophies and has 2 platinums shows a lot more than someone who has 98 bronzes and 2 platinums. Point systems don't really show that since the person could just play a ton of games and have a high score.

I like them the way they are but it would be cool if other people could see them on you in game like next to your name.

I really prefer trophies to the points in the 360. It just feels more rewarding i think, i dunno. To me, it should stay as it is now. Cool system.

Trophies are perfect the way they are, i don't think they need to be changed

Simple answer is they do. I actually think they are better than the Gamerscore points, because an Xbox user could have 20,000G and could have not done a single hard achievement that for example gives 100G, they could have just done hundreds of easy achievements. With the trophies you can see how many different difficulty trophies you have completed. I also like the level system too so you can compare with other people who has done more in all or more in difficult trophies.

I think breaking the trophies down by bronze, silver, gold, and platinum (them also give you an accumulation), as well as the leveling system, is a far better approach to doing it than a simple point total.

That being said, I couldn't care less about trophies or achievements.:)

Well from my experience

a bronze is worth o% or 1%

a silver is worth 1% or 2%

A gold is worth 4% or 5%

a platinum it varies but i guess 9% or 10%

I know this because i have updated my trophies a lot :)

It's fine the way it is. It's a bonus to playing games regularly. I remember the day when games didn't have such things. I guess I'm dating myself.:P

In response to the TC... I like both systems, but there is something about seeing a platinum (maybe it's societies obsession with precious metals) that revs me up more than seeing 1000 points.

the only 2 things that could make trophies better are :

1. give you discount in the store for a certain level ect.

2. unlock things in the actual game like in-game awards (for example, uncharted drakes fortune & sonic ultimate genesis collection)

they are fine just the way they are..

but i would love to unlock like paintball mode for beating a fps on the hardest difficulty and such..

I prefer it as is. I like the bronze/silver/gold/plat breakdown. Let's you see how many games someone has mastered or if they've just farmed out a slew of simple achievements from several games.

I think its fine. I think the level system is good and shows your progress just as good as the achievment system .

Y is everyone so against them, its either u try to achieve trophys or u dont, there is no point in getting rid of them if someone doesnt like them. They just sit there in ur profile, no harm done, seriously.

Anyways, i think they r fine the way they r i guess, it would be kinda cool for like each bronze trophy u get 1 point, for each silver, 2, each gold, 5, and each platinum, 10, or somethin like tht and u get to spend the points on stuff like couches, etc. on PS HOME.
