uncharted 2 freezing problem

i finished the game 3 times already, normal, hard, crushing, ,.., and each of those playthrough it always freezes at the same spot/chapter. it's like uncharted 1. anybody has the same problem?

I have not, but most likely it is the disc . . . try wiping it very gently, since Blue-Ray discs are fragile...if that doesn't work, then I'd try to exchange for a new copy . . .

Odd, Blue-Ray discs are supposed to be harder to scuff up then HD DVD or CDs

It froze upon melast night too on the train... Only time it froze up on me so far...

You aren't the only ones with problems. Theres quite a few that are having overheating issues with the game. See the playstation forum link below. I figure the more I spread the word around the greater chance that ND and Sony release a patch or something to fix these issues.

I'm currentlyat chapter 18 and it froze on me.

i have the same issue. after you fight the guardians and the troops in that big room and going up the stairs it freezes. if you stop right before you get to the stairs though and wait a second for the system to think it won't do it. that's worked for me
