Uncharted 2 or MW2 ? Which should i get?

Which game should i get, I was into the first MW and loved the Multy player, but i hear that uncharted 2 has a great single player and also has a fun Multy player.What do you guys think, Uncharted 2 or MW2?

This question is asked like every other day, butttttttt.

Um, the general consensus is:

Uncharted 2 = Best Singleplayer Campaign (decent length), decent multiplayer

MW2 = So-so Singleplayer Campaign (short as well), great multiplayer

So it really depends what you want the most.

Personally, I think Uncharted 2 is better on both fronts, but I've never been a huge fan of the multiplayer COD. :/

Thank you for your input, you make some great points, I am more into the multy player then the single player. I guess that means i should get MW2 beacause of the Multy player.

I'm so glad that i came here for information you guys have really helped me iron out what game i should get, here's what i've come up with.

I'm going to Buy Modern Warfare 2 and rent Uncharted 2.

My reasoning:

Multy player, I really think it extends the life of the game when after you beat it you can still continue to enjoy it for many many more hours.

I think this is the best way to go about it. I would rent them both but it really adds up, Its 8.99 to rent a game here in Canada,Ontario. 2 games after taxs would come almost $23 bones.

It's up to you, you should check out gameplay vids on both games and from there see which one interests you

Actually if you want my honest opinion get U2 and then Demon Souls. SAGE_OF_FIRE

If you loved CoD4 multiplayer then you'll MW2 multiplayer even more, all they did was improve on it in almost every aspect ( except for dual wielding shotty's ), but you just beat people by using that weapon against them.

I just got back from BlockBuster and rented Uncharted 2, im playing it right now. So far the single player is amazing !!

I think im going to give a couple updates on what game i eventually settle on, just cause it seems that there's many others out there that are not sure which one to get.

The graphics on the train and how the game intertwines you into the environment is really something i have never experienced, so far Uncharted 2 is looking mighty fine. Great story ,it really pulls you in. Jake makes alot of funny comments eh..

I must say i am enjoying it, Im going to jump out of the single player for now and go into so Multi player for abit,thats really whats going to decide what game to get.

Hmm.Multi player is a little lackluster, there version of Horde mode is fun though. Im going to keep playing it for a couple more hours before i call it a night.

Uncharted 2 has a better single player, but Modern Warfare 2 has a better multiplayer.

I would choose Modern Warfare 2, because the single player is still really good

Uncharted 2 for the win!

I just bought my copy yesterday and I'm having tons of fun

The multi-player will get you hooked and the story is fun and full of surprises

I still think Uncharted 2 is the best even after getting it from day of release I'm still playing it. As for Call of Duty I've never been a fan of the series as I like third person shooters better.

i wish i would of purchased u2 instead of mw2. the single player in mw2was beaten in 4.5 hours. and i dont get into the modern style of online it feels cheap. i mostly cant stand the spawn points in mw2 the worst ive ever encountered in any online shooter and ive played at least 100 over the last 13yrs.

I got both, Uncharted 2 single player is real fun but its very short, completed in 5hours or so, and MW2 is waaay better online than uncharted 2

if you are looking for a great singleplayer game, go for Uncharted 2 because of graphics and such.

but if you are looking for Massive online play go for MW2 ;)

In My Opinion...

I am not a MP fan. I play online only CoD:WaW & MW2... I don't really like third person multiplayer games...
