Ok guys, you knew that this topic was coming. 2 games that are goty (well UC2 will prolly soon be). Here is my comparison...
Story = Metal Gear Solid 4
Gameplay = It depends on what type of game you like
Graphics = Uncharted 2
Multiplayer = Uncharted 2
Sound = Metal Gear Solid 4
Replay Value = Uncharted 2
Cinematic Immersiveness... (This is probably the HARDEST category since they are both the two best games that have done it) = MGS4 by a fraction!!!!!Overall = MGS4... Gameplay was a tie, but the edge was the story, and MGS4 MP aint half bad so it came down to the story for me.

IMO it is
Story =Uncharted 2 (For the Average Gamer.Long time MGS fans willprefer MGS4 story)
Gameplay = Probably about a tie... Many things annoyed me about MGS though, like not knowing how to get from point A to point B because every possible path seems blocked off and the AI never stops respawning, so if you draw alert near a spawn point, you're screwed (and MGS4 story can be completed in under 5 hours if you rush and skip cutscenes, although it took me 20 hours for my first playthrough)
Multiplayer = Uncharted 2
Sound = Metal Gear Solid 4
Replay Value = Uncharted 2 (by far. I planned to do a second playthrough of MGS but lost interest by the end of act 1)
Cinematic Immersiveness = MGS4 by miles. Uncharted 2 cinematics are amazing, and I love them. BUT any game compared to MGS4 in terms of cinematic immersiveness is going to get thrashed. MGS4 has the best cutscenes I have ever seen. The final cutscene before the end is nothing short of epic.
Overall = Uncharted 2. It is a more casual game anybody can enjoy. MGS4 is also a masterpiece, and those who enjoy it probably like it more than Uncharted, but the range of players it appeals to is relatively small compared to U2. Both games are must haves. (maybe a rent for MGS4, as it doesn't have much replay value)
