Uncharted's sudden popularity boost

it was silently one of the greatest games to ever hit the ps3.ChiSoxBombers

Sad thing is it still is.

BUT!!!!! We know the game engine is still their. And we know they could make a much larger version of this great game. Some games are peaked. But Uncharted is one that "as good as it was" could do so much more.

still haven't got it.. I picked Assassins Creed over it at the time...

Now since Trophies coming out.. hopefully I can get the game with a bargain..

Not suprising really, Uncharted is one of the best games that the PS3 offers. Graphics wise, the game looks stunning. Easily a standout in the PS3's lineup. Its a bit on the short side though, but you will want to play it till you unlock everything. What it needs is, a longer storyline and also balance the platforming and gun fight bits.

Naughty Dog, Level-5, and Team Ico are the only game making companies I actually have respect for. After I played Dark Cloud 2 I was amazed at how fun the game was and enjoyed all the extra stuff put in, basically Level-5 makes a game that has everything you could possibly want in a game (except online stuff). The Ico Team just blows my mind at how beautiful they make their games and how heartfelt the games actually are simply by just looking at them.

Now NaughtyDog is my favorite because all their games are pure fun, have stories, plot, good dialogue, graphics, extra content, voice acting, and always improve (except for the whole non-existent Kiera in Jak 3...that was lame). When I first saw pics of Uncharted I knew it was gonna be awesome cause Naughty Dog always lives up to the expectations.

yeah i have respect for the companies u mentioned as well...

Level 5: the dark clould series was fun...but i started to take notice after i played jeane d'arc (psp...is one of the best RPGs on the psp) and then saw trailers for White knight....these guys are becoming one of my fav RPG dev team

Team ICO: is just amzing...i have no words to discribe

Naughty Dog/Insomniac: After Uncharted i must say ND has improved their image in my eyes so much...what was said in other post is true...the game sucked me in. As for Insomniac i just seriously love R&C...pure fun and humour..Resistance is also improving their rep.

What gets me about these devs is that they are CONSISTANTLY making fun games.

I got the the two at the same time and stared Assasins Creed first but ended up finishing Uncharted before i even got half way in AC.Uncharted was so fun that i couldnt put the controller down. the voice acting is FANTASTIC 10/10, graphics exellent 9/10, game play was amazingly fun 9.5/10 and stroy was great 8.5...i wouldnt even wait for a bargin....if i knew i would have this much fun before buying this game i would have paid more.

A bad movie though ...

I think its a fantastic game, I've replayed it around 3/4 and it doesn't get boring for me, theres so much to unlock. Also, I find myself playing it just to stare at the graphics, they're so damn good! The cutscenes and especially the water effects in this game are incredible.

Uncharted is an Awesome game I would have kept my copy had it been a bit longer though, I could care less about the trophies.

I m hoping for a Part 2

The gameplay is a little fustrating at times but the action and shooting make up for it. Once you get the hang of it, it gets addictive.
