It is not about one game. It is about the entire video game industry being ruined. 

This isn't just about DmC. 

It is about the entire video game industry, including these franchises, being ruined:

Final Fantasy

Resident Evil

Splinter Cell

and tons more. New IPs going by current gen sucky modern trends, etc. So, I'm not just hating on DmC, I am hating on inferior video game industry standards and practices. 

Dude, it's actually a very well made game. Anyone who thinks it "sucks" either hasn't played it, just isn't into that type of game, or is still upset about the changes they made. I find the combat to be very fast and fluid, the imagery is astounding, the characters and dialog are actually quite tolerable, and the story gets pretty interesting too (better than most horror movies, at least. lol). After revisitting DMC 3 and 4 just recently, I can tell you that the game is no more of a giant cheese fest than those two. It just takes a darker approach. And I couldn't really tell much difference in the speed and effectiveness of the combat. It's not the same, but it's definitely not worse either. Also, demons don't look like raggedy Anne dolls with knives for legs. Forget that it has DMC in the title and play it, dude. Even if you don't like it, it's a hell of a lot better than you're giving it credit for. MrSelf-Destruct

yea what he said i played all of the DMC games and i like the new one but it is easier to build up combos in the new one which is a bad thing because ill have a hard time going stylist in the old ones DX. but in the end its you opinion like its my opinion the FFXIII wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.

Apparently I am one of the very few, or only intelligent people on this board, since you do not understand. I spelled it out for you many times already and yet your mind fails to grasp...

- Whenever a bad game is made goes the opportunity for a good game to be made. The more bad games that release, the more it influences a higher percentage of bad games to be made (Clone of Duty for example).

- DmC is very hated, so stating that only 3/10 of people hate DmC is understatement of the year. DmC was a huge floppy bomb failure. It did not make money and gamers overall hated it and only moronic "professional" reviewers gave it good marks, on average.

- So, how does NOT BUYING Final Fantasy XIII series bring back my once favorite series? Yes, I hate FFXIII series since they are mediocre crap and of course I don't buy them after buying FFXIII and that being my biggest gaming disappointment ever, but how does that bring Final Fantasy back from the grave?
