No offense but the 360 version will suck compare to the 360 version. No mods, no cross platform play, so far they haven't stated KB/M support and they haven't even started working on the 360 version which could mean the 360 version would come Q3 or Q4 of next year which by then I don't know many people who would care because of better games at that time.G-Legend

lol, typos FTW! ^_^
but seriously the 360 version is really lacking. i think this might be the first multiplat that the PS3 will get a better score for.

ubisoft dump haze on xbox 360 and pc which means another developer can do the same thing... Note in the article they said that they have aren't focusing on the xbox 360 one yet so that means the xbox 360 isn't far in development or even started development at all... Its not to late for sony to buy it out or if epic decides to cancel the version. Things like these can happen and have happened before not just with haze also. Its just a possiibility not that its gonna happen and thats what were discussing...

What they need to do is delay it a couple months after Halo 3 so all the hype of that has calmed down and then release it for PS3 and 360 at the same time and then make sure the PC version is optimized correctly then release it for that. I think it's a stupid move not to release it on 360 seeing as thats the console platform for FPS games and would be sooo popular on Xbox live like Gears was.
Oh btw i only own a PC so don't bother flaming me.

Why would they do that? The Ps3 is no slouch for FPS games and arguably outside of Halo3, the ps3 has a better FPS lineup this holiday. Sony cut a deal with epic to make ps3 version first and better, plus epic already has their engine optomized for 360 after gears so they can delay that one a bit but they still won't get all the features we do.What they need to do is delay it a couple months after Halo 3 so all the hype of that has calmed down and then release it for PS3 and 360 at the same time and then make sure the PC version is optimized correctly then release it for that. I wouldn't go as far as calling a 360 version bad, it will just be limited compared to the PS3/PC. Plus, with Epic making money hand over fist with Gears of War, it may be a better investment to drop the 360 version completely, and maybe start production (if they haven't already) on a sequel/prequel to Gears.
I don't want this to be a fanboy statement, but I think it's good to see Epic utilizing the PS3 this way, it never crossed my mind how much it'll be like owning the PC version, especially for people like me who don't play PC games.
by the time the 360 version comes out most people will already have it for ps3/PC..plus the mouse and keyboard support is awesome!
i think epics trying to make up for not having gears on ps3 too, making up for all the backlash they got for all that trying to excite people for unreal III. there probably gonna do something different and special for the other version as well.
what i don't understand is how people still want it to be exclusive, there is like zero excuse now lol. it comes out way earlier its developed with the hardware in mind its got a bunch of features the other version doesn't have so why be selfish it just doesn't make any sense lol.
either way i would say that the pc version would be the best version if you have a good rig, specially since it will be at least 10 dollars cheaper and offer everything the other version have. also um youll be able to play mods on your ps3 but will you need to have the pc version to build mods. they really haven't talked much about that.
hmm yeah we know this but prob sony should like console rights to this (of course not all rights cuz unreal is meant for pc)
now prob is hmm get for ps3? or for pc?
pc = 4.6 ghz dual core plus nvidia 8800gt sli, 2 gigs, 22 inch screen, surround speakers, logitech g15 kb, g5 mouse, and the best gaming leather chair ever, braggin rights on xfire
or
ps3= ps3, 1080p support ona 42 inch hdtv, surround sound, controller and keyboard and mouse support (i really like my g15 though) leather couch really comfy.
both=i can make mods from pc and ps3 and transfer back and fourth, have fun with this on pcif my living room is being used, and vice versa
im getting it for the PC, i have both a pc and ps3 but the pc version is obviously gonna be the superior one.mmirza23
Suprisingly the PS3 version will be better. In PSM they had a whole article on it.
"Of course, the game itself loses nothing in translation for PC to PS3. 'We want to be the same game as on PC, not cutting anything, and in fact adding more for the PS3,' says Jeff Moris, Epic Games' producer on the project." A little bit back and it says, "Positioned side by side with a PC armed with a video card that cost as much as a PS3, the look was identical. Spectacular and identical... this will likely bea new benchmark for PS3 graphics."
If that statement stays true, than the PS3 version will be better because it is either controller support or mouse and keyboard.

well the pc version can have a controller to though. but he said with a pc card that cost as much as a ps3 also i think the framrate is gonna be higher on the pc. but honestly not gonna be much difference though specially since the ps3 is cheaper then a rig that could play unreal maxed out. but if you have a pc that can i mean the pc version the way to go, i think but really not a huge difference.

on your pc i would that is some system :)
but i will personally buy this asap just for the FREEcross platform play. And adding kb/m as a option is so simple yet genius on epic's part.

I think it'll be delayed anyways but i just don't see how not releasing it for PS3 only would make them money

i don't think pc gamers will even care about controller support for a fps. I would have gotten on the PC if it weren't for Epic kb+m support , and the mod-compatibility.
The thing is though... if both versions look and run exactly the same as PSM says they do, the PS3 version will be better because as it says in the article it includes more (The article also talks about User Mod tools for the PS3 version), and the PS3 can have the mouse and keyboard support as well as the regular Sixaxis controller which some people prefer. I'd rather use a sixaxis controller than a PC controller - but since PS3 supports the mouse and keyboard, I'd rather use that.
As I said though... the PC and PS3 version run EXACTLY the same - there is no difference according to the article. They didn't want to make cuts for PS3, so they didnt and it worked out well. I am getting it on the PS3, because as the article says... it includes more.
(PSM: User mods caption: "What's the best way to get noticed for a job in the games industry? Get in on the mod scene, and UT3's UnrealED will be the perfect tool. Epic intends to run the Mod Contest after the released of UT3, and that will include PS3 - specific mods that adhere to the 512k memory limit. Get your creative caps on and start concocting what you'd produce given the tools the pro's use.")
