I really just cant explain it. All I can say was it was uninspired, bland and REDICULOUSLY repetitive.

If you enjoy "Diablo" kinds of games, it's one of those games. It was largely criticized for a lack of voice acting and when there was a plot to speak of, lack of inspiration. It's not that it's overly glitchy or twitchy, it's more disappointment in a chance or two to be different and instead it's bland. Personally, I really haven't played this type of game through since "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" so I was considering it if I found it really cheap... but it has been described as "if you've played all the rest and you need a fix, this will work" kind of game, be warned.

Im not a big rpg person so I doubt it will bother me. just wanted to play somthing different so the complaint about it being bland doesnt effect me because the last rpg I played was kingdom heats 2

Well, that's why it apeals to me, is that it's a little more action than RPG. I can deal with leveling and such but after arming up with the latest plus-whatever Damage weapon or arming the latest spell I'm not much for RPGs either. The Diablo-Baldur-Norrath type of game is about as complicated as I care to get.

:)

It really wasn't bad at all actually. Just very vanilla. About as Diablo'ish as you can get on the PSP.

No voice acting sure, but the story wasn't bad so much as it was just your run of the mill, high fantasy romp.

Lots of weps and items, branching skill trees, multiple classes, enough hacking and slashing to last you through the millennium, etc.

Nothing new, but nothing terribly wrong either..

The second one was basically more of the same. A little prettier, with voice acting and online co'op, but in the end it was pretty similar.

If thats your thing, go for it. There probably 10-15 bucks a pop by now..

Wouldn't one be better off playing Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony than these games? Same genre; better reviews. Just curious.

i thought the first one got borin really really fast, than for some reason i bought the 2nd game but i didn't regret it because it was just much better in every way. 2nd one has online co-op as well which is pretty awesome.
