update ver 1.80 what are the new features you want to see in the next update

Support for the Guitar hero controllers so i can play GH I and II as it's ment to be played not using the damn sixaxis or PS2 controller.

The ability for more customisation such as wallpapers, Icons etc

Better browser support ie more upto date flash and java as well as Video and Audio support.  

a fix to make sure that online server is dictated by the game disc not the system

im playing against japanses people with a AUS version of resistance :(

it will be cool if there will be ps2 upgrading to 720p or 1080i displaying in 16:9 also to normal dvd's.

• Be able to costumize XMB.
• Be able to play music while playing a game.
• Be able to invite a friend to a game while chating with them.
• Upscaleing of PS2 games to at least 1080i
• Upscaleing of PS1 games to at least  720p
• Upscaleing of DVD's to at least 1080i
• Support for foregin DVD's PS1, PS2 and PS3 games (be region free like it was promissed)
• And finaly......HOME!! We want it NOW!!

XMB Over the Games and DVD's

Yah, customize your background like in PSP with pictures (or maybe looping videos?) 

A better way to organize large amounts of files (ie. MP3 management)

a more iTunes like MP3 player where you can make playlists etc

i dont care too much about this but a lot of people do, custom game soundtracks from your mp3 library

this was said before but its a good idea, an official PS3 headset like 360's... i play resistance and motorstorm alot online and there are very few people who actually have headsets.... if sony made a good cheap headset that came with system it would greatly enhance the online experience

DVD upscale would be nice but i dont care too much about this

In game XMB and messaging/voicechat like on Xbox Live

Thats all I can think of,  overall though I think sony's been doing a great job with updates lately, we god background downloading when we asked for it, they fixed the jaggies issue with PS2 games, and lately the PSN store has been getting new stuff in every week... not too shabby for no monthly fee.  Plus from now until October when Home comes out, we'll be getting 3 updates 1.8, 1.9, 2.0....  They seem to space it out a bit more compared to Microsoft with the updates (Live gets major updates in Spring and Fall so far)

Who said 40 browsers? I just want to open ESPN. Certain sites, regardless of how many browsers are open, exceed the memory limits. 

For update 1.80 I would like a refund of about 200$ to bring the console value to what it really ought to be. I would also like the X360 versions of COD3 and FEAR to be mailed to me with the update so that I don't have to play completely half-assed versions of good games on a console that barely has the support and backing of its manufacturer. Also an honest promise that Sony will hop off its ass and make an effort to make this a competitive console would be nice with 1.80

Other than that I'd like XMB accessable even while in game.

they wont do that. it would encourage cheating and make people stop playing games and get bored and stuff.
